What's up gamers! It's been a rough one with my semester wrapping up- But I always have the energy to draw my favorite OC x Canon dudes Gyro Gearloose and my Ducktales OC Mira Silvereye.
So here we have two nerds in their natural habitat being, surprise surprise, nerds. What chaos will ensue?
A bit of context into this bs in case someone is curious by some miracle:
Mira Silvereye (my Ducktales 2017 OC) was originally a freelance scientist in Duckburg. But after being convinced to join his cousin Bolt on an adventure to find his missing sister Jay, Mira comes into contact with a magical amulet. He originally saw magic as useless parlor tricks, but now he has to study it in order to navigate the magical prophecy him and his cousins are now a part of. His studies lead him to developing technology that eventually lands him a job as a scientist under an old family friend Scrooge McDuck, where he meets Gyro Gearloose. Initially, Gyro absolutely HATES this reckless, loud-mouthed, magic-reliant disaster. But after time together (and enough pure stubborn denial) the two of them manage to grow closer and become inseparable.
I've been working on a pretty big video involving the two, (My "Your Stupid Face" animatic) so it just felt right to make a drawing and speedpaint with my dudes.
...God, I miss Ducktales 2017 man.
