If you come from celtic heritage the interpretation might be more intuitive? Eg the coffin card is a ciarn, which is an ancient burial structure.

I started my tarot journey in the 80s and actually started with the Aquarian and Morgan Greer decks , as in those days, believe it or not, RWS was a bit harder to come by, even though it was seen as the "main" tarot deck. After finally getting one I hated it, so figuring I was being a rebel I tucked it away and studied the other two decks instead. Well the joke was on me as the symbolism and images are basically the same, only a little more eye appealing then the standard RWS. When I finally went back to the RWS I ended up loving it! The work I had done with the other two was transferable, and now it is my "go-to" deck and has been for years. (Actually the Universal Waite, but still a Waite deck.) Thanks for sharing all your decks! I was going to buy only one deck at first. I brought the fairy tales one as I thought it was of good quality considering it's tin boxed. However I regretted it soon after I opened the box - as you also mentioned the pictures are too busy which is rather distracting in reading. In the end I brought a second deck, the blue bird one, and I am happy with it. My lesson from it is that experience with tarot is not quite relevant in choosing a lenormand deck. The style of the illustrations & quality of cards might make a difference in tarot. But for lenormand decks, simple is the best.

2:03 I like the "dirty edges" and the gold borders look amazing. I would get some "distress inks" and go ahead and smudge up the back borders. Ps... this video inspired me to get a RWS deck and kind of mess it up, lol. It's your real deck because you out your energy into it, not because it's "pretty."

The colors on so many cards in the Beltaine deck to me are Fall/Autumn colors. I haven't found the Samhain deck artwork particularly appealing, so I've only bought their Yule deck so far, but I keep thinking as I'm watching flipthroughs that the Samhain and Beltaine decks combined would make 1 great deck. To me, the Yule deck is great all by itself. Tfs this flipthrough.

On the aces with the disembodied hand offering the wand, cup, sword, and pentacle, I've read that to mean the universe is handing you that possibility, potential, or opportunity -- On the 6 of pentacles, you've identified a possible shadowy controlling side of the card. If the concept is re-distribution or sharing a windfall, perhaps the scale could indicate one needs to be mindful to assess their ability or capacity to help based on what is needed. In some cases, we may not be equipped to help in a specific situation. I'm enjoying seeing all the different depictions in these various decks!

Argh! I have the cosmic slumber and at times it's brilliant and at others it's a little "off". I believe the artist isn't a tarot reader and despite the dedicated research effort some depictions don't quite click for me. Seems the White Numen would be much the same for me.
