Ventus chaining reversal in pvp

This is just to show off something that is only possible in pvp mode and it's pretty easy to do against shotlocks like Absolute Zero. There are other ways to pull this off but I haven't been able to pull it off consistently and I just haven't messed with the pvp mode in general.

I know Ars is in the deck but I didn't get to use it in this attempt so it might as well have not been in the deck. Also playing on BBS vanilla and completely forgetting how much more difficult this boss is on this version. I probably won't post more MF videos unless I can come up with another deck to run.

I have no idea why MF is using doom in phase 1 btw which makes this fight a little more difficult. I'm just glad I was able to beat the boss as Terra. (Did it a second time to show off phase 1 doom) I have never seen phase 1 doom before but if someone can explain why this happens I'd like to know. This is the PSP BBSFM version.

The song used is just perfect of a choice; it feels "Dante-esque". I'm that much of a Square Enix and Capcom fangirl, so it was a sweet transition from Devil May Cry to Final Fantasy for ShootieHG's involvement.

Is oblivion better in the mod or is the key blade for style?
It was mainly preference. I like Oblivion's design though I rarely use it in any game
Overhauls like this make me sad I played certain games so often that the enemies need overhauled just as hard to make them fun again. Like style switcher in DMC3. On the other hand being ~20 years later I wouldn't enjoy the games as much or have the time.

take popular character. make him playable for the whole game. give him random flashy blinding random attacks with no rhyme or pattern that you can barely follow or understand = somehow, a good mod. Thanks but I'll stick to Sora.
I can follow Roxas’ moveset just fine. This isn’t any more flashy then any other actual character action game, especially stuff like DMC4/5, which the mod takes inspiration from.

So are there directional inputs for moves with this mod?
There aren't any directional inputs like in DMC but there are new inputs like R2 + Square that allows you to do different attacks

@@lennybarks Weird thing to say given the only way to actually play is via a ps2 emulator which only works on PC The EGS versions of the game will not work for the mod, however, you need to use the emulator OP. If you go to the link mans posted there's a link there that leads to download & install instructions
Honestly I feel like this mod is relatively close to how Roxas would function at his peak. Faster and more aggressive than we usually ever see in base Sora
