Well done for sharing Darren. Definitely not a boring video, we need people like you to share life experiences, especially men. I have suffered with anxiety/panic attacks most of my life at one point I didn't want to leave the house. I was only saying yesterday can you remember when I found it hard to shop in a supermarket and look at me now going out on my own and on a busy Saturday. The 1 in 4 people does not cover those that struggle alone without seeking help. I have got to know many people on CZcams, especially those who film their walks and adventures, with MH issues. You wouldn't know, you would think all was well until they open up and tell you. I know my channel is making jewellery and I just share some little walks now and again but I love being out and about in the woods with nature. I am so unfit but it does make me feel so good. Thank you for sharing, you should be very proud of yourself 🙂👋🥾

Wow Claire, thank you so much for such a positive comment, it really does mean so much! i also went through a spell of not wanting to leave the house and fully understand how difficult it is to overcome this type of mental health issue. i know this video will not do so well because people still don't like talking about the issue's surrounding it. But sometimes it has to be put out there. i feel better for it as it has been on my mind for quite a while and just thought and felt in the right frame of mind to put it out there this morning. thank you again! best wishes, Darren❤🙏🙏🙏

Great video! This has been on my 'to do' list for a while. I am always taken with stone circles and what their original purpose was for. I have visited 'The Hurlers' on Bodmin Moor many times; it is close to where my daughter lives in Liskeard in Cornwall. Like Louise says, I really liked the camera work in this, and your music choices too. Beautiful lighting here. I totally understand by what you say about 'belonging' in places like this. I felt the same at Avebury in Wiltshire last month. A really glorious spot there. Good to see your brother with you there too. Thank you! Take care, Paul

CZcams is hard,for sure, but don't do it for the numbers, don't do it for the clicks, don't do it for the number of comments, do it because you want to, you enjoy the creativity, and you feel happy with the result. Nothing else matters. There is no secret to CZcams. Hope this helps ! I still get down days too, but that doesn't really show in my videos except on a couple of occasions. Take care, Paul

What a lovely walk! The peaceful and calm atmosphere really came across beautifully. Really nicely filmed and narrated. I liked the way you looked at the brickwork of the viaduct and then followed the curve of it with the camera and the scenes of you both walking were super nice too. I would love to visit there one day. What a cute coffee cart! Fab video!
Wow, to get feedback like this from someone who i think far excels myself is great! it really was a lovely walk. there is also a tea and cake van in the middle of a field on that walk, i can't comment on it because we didn't use it but can highly recommend the G'day coffee. there is more to Pensford than we looked at, also you will be pleased to know that the footpath is easy to navigate and well sign posted. thank you so much for your comment, it really does mean a lot to me Louise. 👍👍👍

Thank you Louise, i really appreciate it, i was a bit shaky that morning and i didn't think the video did it justice. however my lovely brother has got me a new stick and we had a lovely walk out from the stone circle at Stanton Drew to Pensford yesterday and i feel much more confident now. i hope you can take a look at that one and let me know your thought's. thanks again, best wishes Darren👍👍

I love Dawlish, only been to Dawlish Warren twice, I think another visit is in order. Lovely filming especially the sunrise, the water looks so calm. I have got to know some other CZcamsrs and although my channel is making Jewellery, the odd video I have done on days out, has had really helpful comments. Places to go, especially in Wales, I have found the community so helpful. Keep sharing your videos 🙂👋

New subscriber here. I love Mallards Pike and Cannop Ponds. I did a video on Mallards Pike but it was so busy I go off into the woods. Being an early bird is something I need to do and get my bum out of bed to get the best shots. I will have a look later at your other videos as I am from Bristol and understand the horrible M5. Your video is lovely and clear, what do you use to film? 😁
Hi There, thank you so much for the Sub! i go early as i don't deal with crowds to well and also find that i get much better video's and it's just much easier to film. i just use my trusty A52 Phone with the stabilizer on and a remote stick to hold the Phone. 14:28 Did you ever used to tie up that lychgate when a couple got married? The bride and groom wouldn't be allowed through until they cough up some coins, so I've heard
yes i was there back in the late 70s early 80s picking up the coins along with many others. great old tradition.
My grandfather took part in dismantling it. Broke his collarbone in the process. Since we're both always doing the same walks I'm surprised I've never seen you but I'll say hi if I ever do
Well most of the walks i do are just after Sunrise, i am very much an early bird. interesting about your Granddad, i believe that would of been around the 1952 mark? but not entirely sure. thanks for commenting, please do say hi if you see me on your travels. it's always great to have a quick chat and share experiences. we booked it and it was advertised as a gold and like i say in my review it is like a lodge. it was beautiful and we were very surprised we got it at that price.

Gorge-ous video!!! It is so picturesque around there and the walks are so steep, but so worth it. Good idea to film the last part in the car. Weather changes can be so frustrating when you are filming.. I look forward to your next video from the area too.

@@brenwyatt9324 Weymouth is lovely, we have friends who run a guesthouse there. i do prefer more off the track places and find places like Charmouth and Seatown are also great. WOW ! we just stayed in a suposed gold at burnham on sea haven (and they were supposedly new cravans on the site as they re did the area we stayed in!) and it was NOWHERE near as nice as this! cost us £350 for friday to Monday morning ( iknow prices vary on season and time of year! ..im beginging to think they stiffed us and popped us in a silver or bronze one instead with a wrap around deck etc thinking we wouldnt notice we didnt even get a washing machine like you! ) till i saw your vid of a gold standard! ..it was NOTHING like this! I do know they vary from site to site but yours was way nicer than the one we got at burnham! this looks more like a platinum that you would get at burnham we got an ensuit toilet and sink in the main bedroom and a sperate shower bathroom ...that was it didnt even have a bath like yours let alone 2 showers etc! ..also the one we stayed in was only a year old ! so WHY the big discrepancy across the parks in price and what they consider standard, bronze, silver, gold and platinum? im shocked at what you got and what we got in gold standard at 2 diffrent haven parks only 44 min drive between one another! THis has to be a platinum caravan well it would be at burham and cost a hell of a lot of money for the week!
We Have also stayed at Burnham and had a lovely lake side signature gold but it didn't even come close to the one we had at doniford bay. they do vary and we paid over £350 for the one in Burnham. again for four nights mid week break. in general the one at Don iford are always cheaper than Burnham as i think with Burnham being a much bigger site with more going on than Doniford this is justified. believe me when we checked in we thought we had made a mistake and had to check the door ticket a few times as we were in disbelief that that was the one we had only paid £265.00 for but believe me we were not about to complain and it really was a beautiful unit. thank you for sharing your experiences it's quite interesting how all the sites vary. anyway off to parkdean isle of wight in september so watch out for that review. all the best👍👍👍 also i forgot to mention that we booked it last minute less than a week before, there was only one gold left, i am thinking that maybe they had a cancellation? Hence the price? also on our way back from the isle of wight we have booked a bronze in Donniford for four nights. i will review that as well. we have a dimbola lodge on the isle of wight so will be interesting to see how that compares to the one in the video.

Another very relaxing video! I love Portishead and it’s Coast line. I grew up there as a child. The town has changed so much but the coast is just as I remember it. Gorgeous! A lovely stroll!
