@@kazelasarcade only thing I forgot to mention was that I had to tweak the monitor sync just a bit. Other than that it was plug and play. Outrun plays perfect. You can’t tell that’s it’s not original hardware.

One thing I have noticed with Wonka is that it seems to do ball searches fairly common, especially with the left loop shot / not the collect kids orbit but the next one on the right of it. Do you know how to go about problem solving that?

That shot is into the pops? It should feed from there into the left lane next to the tv shot. If the ball is hanging up check and make sure your level. I use a digital craftsman level. I don’t remember what mine is set at. Check the wonka Pinside thread for a recommendation on a good level. Also do you have a standard or LE?

I had to install one extra 20amp breaker and outlet. That runs all the pins and the 5 games along the garage door. The other ones are on a separate 20 amp breaker.

I had the rgb trackball in my first GT I had. The ball feel is off compared to the white one. I switched it back. You can probably change the blue LEDs if you rip the old ones out and go rgb.

I quit FB back in 2010, too many people just arguing over silly stuff. And that was between extended family members!

@@gumby510 Okay thanks, good to know! I do appreciate your replies here. I also had no idea the Paperboy controller was going for so much money now. I bought a spare many years ago, to cannibalize parts if needed, but maybe if I fix my good one with the aluminum gears from Paradise Arcade I could just sell the spare. It seems like Paradise is out of stock on the 60 tooth plastic gears though and I do not see that they have any aluminum versions of that one.

Ya i soak everything in simple green for a day and then clean and rinse. There was another video I did again where I had to take the controller off again and redo it. Mistake where made haha. I took it apart one last time but not totally to replace the harness. The most important part is to not snap those bolts where the springs are.

I did a video a while after that’s says part 5. Where I took the controller part. Maybe check that out. Was from March of 2021

Never really played any of those games. I was always a fan of the arcade like goofy golf games. Like hot shots golf on the PlayStation and of course golden tee.

Various arcade selling groups on Facebook. People sell DK’s all the time.

Hey thanks for watching. Wish I could do more with this space. I got myself backed into a corner as I have to many games now to rip it all out and properly do this space. Pisses me off at the dam mismatched carpet and such. It also follows my evolution in this hobby as well. I make do I guess. Looks great on film with the lights off haha

That was the first pinball I played on a computer. It instantly grabbed me and I knew I wanted it. Got lucky when CGC did the last run and I grabbed the Royal. This game reminds me of Monty python with all the crazy callouts. Another reason I had to have it. Hey thanks for watching I appreciate it.

Ya sorry I didn’t get around to doing this. I’m terrible at measuring anything. With the seat itself being vacuum molded I don’t see how you would reproduce this. Only wimoutrun could do this out of the UK. With the small amount of these still left in the wild it’s not an easy task. Most operators trashed these cabs as they were not conversion friendly.

The monitor is perfect on this game. Very minimal screen burn not worth pulling it and paying for a tube swap. I paid over $3500 for it two years ago. If you could even find another it would be $4500 and up nowadays.

The one that’s crazy money is the deluxe version. That has full motion that was available in space harrier, outrun, afterburner and hang on. I was just looking for a standard upright when I was contacted that this was available. I jumped right on it. Came out of a private airport hanger that it was sitting in for a few years. You would have to get a whole separate nighthawk setup for that and install it with a prefect solution switcher. Same thing with arcade collection as well. It’s easier to add ssx to a legacy unit pedestal since both games run 1080p.

@gumby510 I know , I was just curious if they have released a real legit version we can buy, not having to get another nighthawk etc. Like scantron5k has in his machine, I was wondering if there was a legit , machine you could buy that has both games in the cabinet with the artwork and I think the one at the Bar I used to play had a 3rd game, like corn hole or something. It was back in college , so it's all little fuzzy. Lol

@@AJerseyJohnnyEntertainment no they just did arcade collection to give operators something to convert the old legacy pedestals into something else to make money. Target toss is the other game you’re thinking of. I have arcade collection and it doesn’t get any play really. Not worth the money and space it takes up.

To earn more stuff during the season you have to pay the $10 fee on the pga app. Once that’s done playing any course you can earn experience points towards rewards. When you check in your character it will tell you when the season ends. The season ends tomorrow and they are offering triple exp through today. Make sure to get and use the PGA tour app and not use the old legacy one. If you have any more questions let me know. Thanks for watching

Yeah, we were getting the free stuff in the left column (if you look at the "Club Pass" on the phone app) and no, we weren't getting the premium stuff on the right side of that screen. The question is (and it's hard to describe exactly what I'm asking): 1. Why do we qualify for points that raise our levels toward the free stuff on some courses, but not on others? 2. Also, now that you mentioned it, does the $10 fee cover the entire season or is that $10 per course or day or week or something else? 3. How do you know when a season begins and how long it is? 4. Is there somewhere in the game on the machine or on the app where I could get this information without bugging you for it? :) Again, your help is very much appreciated!

I never really thought about checking if point are for just the new courses. I believe it’s for all of them. I’d need to check this. The season is $10 and cover the whole season which is 3 months at least maybe 6 i forget. The new one should start on Tuesday. You can always join golden tee fan page on Facebook if you have any more questions. Lots of helpful people over there.

@@gumby510 Thanks again for your quick reply. Yeah, it seems like only certain courses give the points unless you're on Premium (so it seems). We play enough where it may be worth signing up for Premium anyway. It's really hard to find answers to questions about Golden Tee.... They really could use better PR. Anyhow, thanks again! :)
