Trans as a concept is deeply conservative. To claim a look or sexist stereotype to be progressive instead of insanely homophobic and misogynistic is what went wrong with adding the T to the very unrelated and even contrary LGB movement. And as heterosexual transvestites came into the bunch of letters community the homophobia became part of the whole thing. Nowadays we see the results of it. Yeah nothing about Jenner's point of view makes sense, and that frankly goes for almost any and every conservative point of view (from MY point of view). And I STRONGLY believe that Black conservatives, Log Cabin Republicans, hell, even just women Republicans in general, are in an ideology that stands against their very equality. So none of it has ever made sense to me, and hearing Caitlyn try to explain it here does absolutely nothing to help clarify it for me.
