Thank you for this video Sean, this really stripped my thoughts of “why i get so little views”. I’m just a beginner and now i know that loving what i love to do is more important than views or what people think & choose to see.

Good video, important topic and the intro is very nicely made, but gee, those AI-generated stock video sequences inbetween still creep me out, no matter how realistic they may seem at first glance, there’s always an unnatural element left. Granted, I almost didn’t notice, but when I did, it was uncanny.

I have another channel that failed. 1) I chose the wrong niche 2) I dove right before doing any research ( otherwise I would not have) 3) I am horrible on camera 4) who wants to watch an old man 5) I struggled to make connections with the crowd I was in or the space that I was in. So, I am rerluctant to try again.

the issues with content creators digging deep into the art of gawx is the lack of discussion about the production design--its always the cinematography (and lighting), sound design, editing but never the production design (or the lack of) in gawx videos. the reason why most content creators couldnt really pinpoint how to make videos like gawx is because they really dont look outside the technicalities of filmmaking that gawx does. i hope someday, there would be a content creator that would dig into the effectiveness of gawxs production design that contributes significantly to the atmosphere of its videos. i believe that its camera and lighting techniques, with the help of video editing and color grading would not be perfect if not for the production design that gawx presents.

10:06 Numbers do not define you as a creator. I do my videos mainly for myself and my daughters in order to document what I am doing and how it was in the past. It seems that there is around 6000 people who come back time to time to see how I am improving (I film about table tennis) but I would do the videos anyway if they were not watching. I must confess that having traction is huge for motivation but the most pleasant part is to meet subscribers in the real life. Nowadays, when I attend a tournament, I meet around 10 players who follow my videos. With my daughters we laugh about the day I will sign a raquet ;-). It is alle more fun that I am a begginer with a very low level in my play.
