Oh wow, hurting lines are the best. I stare people away from agility lines I like herding lines and possibly obedience lines and even some Pet lines

Very nice. Is the clapping his reward?
Kind of. He gets a small piece of chicken, too. The clapping tells him that it's coming. But, the main reason why I started doing that was to make sure that the judge knows that I don't have food in my hands!
@@kristinepfs oh, that’s a wonderful reason why you would clap Just wanted to ask because you clapped every time he did some thing, and I wondered if that was a cue for some thing, but I guess the queue was almost like a clicker for him and also letting the judge know thank you
@@watchmoivies123 We have a young girl now who gets way too excited if I clap. So, when I am working with Bandit, I go to town!! It really is kind of like a clicker for him. A "marker" that he performed the exercise correctly. He loves it!!

Hmmmmmmm .... maybe. it is really hard to say. I would say I see some kind of herding breed, but my thought is more Australian Shepherd, or possibly Cattle Dog. But, who knows? It is certainly possible. Nice training, and what a great space you two have to work in!!

I don't know what All Dogs Parkour is, is it for training a service dog? Can I ask what the clapping is for?
Canine Parkour is a dog sport, so it is not for training a service dog, but just something that one can do with a dog for fun. We train the dog to do different behaviors and then (typically) we go to different locations and have the dog perform some of them on different items in the environment (logs, rocks, benches, etc). This is for a special theme event where everything is done at home. There is a rule that you cannot have any food in your hands, and I started doing the clapping as a way to show that my hands were empty in case it might have looked like I was holding something. My dogs like it, so it is something that I have continued. It is not really necessary.
LOVELY JOB Just be careful with clapping, you need to wean it off so your boy does not thinks he is wrong when you don't clap.. Only reason I said this is because it happned to me..................... Part of his reward was the clap..

What is ADP
ADP is "All Dogs Parkour".
What is this?
It is a dog sport called "Canine Parkour". The dog is taught certain behaviors, such as "jump", "go around", "go under", "go between", etc. Then you go to different locations and find items in the environment that the dog can carry out those behaviors with. We can create videos and earn titles by doing this.

It's a Q. On the Between (Backwards) it was a little hard to see if she had finished going entirely through the two trees b/c of the video angle, but I think she did. On the next exercise, Back Up (Onto an EF), the height of the step looked close to hock height. In slow motion, I could see that the top surface was above her hock. Good work! That's her GrCH Level 2 title. Congratulations!

No. She was a stray!! Nobody knows where she came from.
It's a Q! The second platform turn was a little iffy, but she straightened it out when she came off the EF. Platform Turns need to be a full 360 degrees each way. That means not just the head but also the front and rear feet! First turn was complete, second - not 100% until she was ready to get off. The rest of the run was flawless. Great NU at the end.
It's a Q. The Loops are not as I envisioned (as in the CRO Rally Cone Loops), but are in accord with the ADP description, so it is a Q! I will have to revise the description, I guess! Nice job on everything! That's her title. Congratulations!!

A Q for Tessa! On #11, which is Between (Backwards), the video angle does not show the width between the EFs so it is hard to judge. But #9 shows the same poles at a better angle and they are obviously close enough. Even if they were not the same poles and #11 could not be judged, the run would still qualify b/c you had two Landscape Patterns and the most recently posted Exercise Descriptions made each pattern a single exercise. So the old 2Fer requirement saved the day, regardless! Great job, and she is on her way to her L3 title. Go, Tessa!
