I TRAVELED TO NYC TO SEE GREEN DAY
Monday, August 5, 2024, I saw Green Day for the 5th time and with my BFF in New Jersey, Anthony. When Green Day announced their tour, I kind of accepted I wasn’t going to see them because they were not coming to Florida this leg…until…I woke up to a text from Anthony one morning in January saying that Green Day announced on Howard Stern they were going to perform the Dookie and American Idiot album in its entirety (to celebrate 20 years of American Idiot and 30 years of Dookie). I could not miss that, especially the American Idiot album. I bought a single ticket and flew up.

I obviously got sent here because I've just watched this song yt and arent I glad , great job to a great song ,fun fact ,Frank the bassist went to my school in Norris Green in liverpool..anyway if you see this watch the original members do this song with the Prague orchestra just recently, you wont be disappointed, the 8 minute version is brilliant too ,I love young people who like playing old music 👌

The hardest part of playing drums is keeping a steady tempo. So basic, but the relationship between the bass and drummer makes or breaks this aspect of the band. Gotta play with a bass player to see if you are any good. Most drummers struggle.
