Railfanning at Howell Wye in Atlanta, GA!
zhlédnutí 120Před 2 dny
(June 12, 2024) In today's video, for the first time, I visited a new railfanning spot, called Howell Wye, located in Atlanta, GA. At Howell Wye, you're expected to see about 40 to 60 trains a day (both NS and CSX, including Amtrak 19 and 20). I thought I was about to see at least 10 trains, but I probably picked the wrong time to arrive at Howell Wye. First, I saw a NB autorack, NS 18E, then I...
Solo C6M Leader, EMDs, and BNSF Power in Duluth, GA!
zhlédnutí 55Před 5 dny
(June 9 - June 11, 2024) Days after I saw the NS Geometry Train with "The Brick", I went to Duluth in hopes of seeing a train or two. It didn't took long for a train to pass Duluth, which was NS 243 with a solo AC44C6M leader. Minutes later, NS P12 had a EMD duo, a SD70M-2 leader, and a SD60E trailing 2nd. Two days later, I went back to Duluth and saw NS 240 with 4 BNSF engines: a ES44C4, two B...
Railfanning in Duluth, Norcross, and Buford: Military Train, Geometry Train, and More!
zhlédnutí 131Před 12 dny
(May 26 - June 6, 2024) On May 26, I was out in Duluth to see one train, NS 058, a loaded military train that carried Humvees and other military vehicles. Along with NS 058, I saw two other trains in Duluth: NS 240 with the usual BNSF power (before seeing NS 058), and NS 154 with a Union Pacific C45ACCTE trailing 2nd (after seeing NS 058). One week later on June 4, I went back to Duluth and saw...

(May 7 - May 23, 2024) On May 7, I went to Duluth and I expecting to see a northbound. Instead, the northbound train stopped in Duluth and waited on two southbounds. I ended up seeing one of the two southbound trains, NS P11, which had 5 engines. After hearing that the next southbound (I assume it was NS 243) was a couple of miles out, I headed home since it was late for me to be out. Three day...
Wind Turbine Train (with BCOL C44-9WL), Loaded Pipe Train, and More in Duluth and Norcross, GA

(April 25 - April 30, 2024) When I went to Duluth on April 25 and saw four BNSF engines, I thought I saw NS 240, but a friend told me that it was NS 282. I went to Norcross two days later (4/27) and saw NS 240 and NS 243. The next day (4/28), I saw NS 240 in Duluth. I was in for a double surprise when I went to Duluth on April 30. NS 057, which was a loaded wind turbine train, had a CN SD70M (8...

(April 9 - April 19, 2024) After seeing two random NS 283s in two different locations (Norcross and Duluth, GA) and in two different days (April 9 and April 15), I was in for a surprise when I went to Duluth on April 19. I heard that there was a BNSF Executive SD70MAC trailing 2nd out of 5 on NS 283. I headed to Duluth and saw NS 283 with the BNSF Executive MAC, along with NS 242, NS P72, NS 24...
CSX L&N (1850) & CP 7016 Visits the Abbeville Sub!
zhlédnutí 108Před měsícem
(March 30 - April 1, 2024) After a month without uploading, I'm back! I went to Tucker, GA to see my 3rd CSX heritage unit, CSX 1850, or the L&N (Louisville & Nashville) heritage unit, which was on CSX M583. After 4 hours of waiting and thinking of giving up and going home, I heard M583's horn and got M583. My shot of M583 wasn't my best, but it is what it is. Two days later, I heard updates on...

Ferromex SD70ACe, BNSF SD70MAC, NS GP38-2 High Hood, and NS 1800 Visits the Greenville!
zhlédnutí 149Před 2 měsíci
(March 20, 2024 - March 28, 2024) These are catches that I wasn't expected to see. After I heard that NS 283 had a Ferromex SD70ACe, BNSF SD70MAC, and a NS GP38-2 high hood, I went out trackside to see that NS 283. After seeing 3 trains and 4 hours of waiting in Duluth, I saw that NS 283 that I (and other railfans) anticipated. If you didn't know, BNSF 8890 was the same BNSF SD70MAC I saw in Ga...

Wind Turbine Train, Union Pacific, and More in Duluth, GA
zhlédnutí 141Před 3 měsíci
(March 7, 2024) After days of resting from traveling back home from my vacation in Mexico, I decided to go back railfanning because of one thing: NS 980. NS 980 was a wind turbine train led by a Norfolk Southern SD70ACe, something you wouldn't see everyday. But, of course, I headed out to Duluth to see that wind turbine train. Moments after, I saw NS 242 with a Union Pacific GE duo, NS P72, and...

(February 11, 2024 and March 1, 2024) While I was on vacation in Mexico, I went railfanning twice in two different places: Vanegas, Mexico, and San Luis Potosi, Mexico. For the first time since 2022, I returned to Vanegas, Mexico to see my first trains of 2024. Seeing a total of three trains in Vanegas, I saw foreign power on CPKC tracks: Union Pacific on the first two trains, and BNSF on the l...
Cool video well done!
Diego, where have you been? You went to get the milk?💀(I’m joking) new upload, new banger💥
I only caught the last one because of school. Also off-topic I guess but the warbonnet #761 will be at 240 first after 284, then come back at 283. (Just want to let you know that)
I’ve heard of the Warbonnet on NS 284. That should go on 240 in a few days.
@@NorthGeorgiaRailfan I thought it was today
@@The_goofy_railfanner Oh yeah, NS 240 has the Warbonnet. It should be on 283 tomorrow.
@@NorthGeorgiaRailfan is it at Atlanta?
@@The_goofy_railfanner It’s long gone.
I know this off topic but, did 27A passed norcross?
Not yet. 27A passed Midland moments ago.
@@NorthGeorgiaRailfan I have bad news
@@NorthGeorgiaRailfan I’m not going to the weekend to get it😭

You may want to redo the title for this train video because you wrote 1/22/18 instead of 1/22/19 of this train video and this train video was posted in 2019 so please redo the title for this train video please and nice train video by the way.

I've not seen a 6-engine train before like at 01:51. Is that a yard thing?

AWESOME GOOD VIDEO THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS WITH ME JIM KAMMERER OF PHILADELPHIA PA 👌
This one is a nonstop long haul.
What the fuck
Why do trains have to pass through towns at such high speeds; I know it’s because they have to clear the tracks for another train , it’s all about the clock, but boy do they pose a grave danger to humanity and other animals near the tracks.
I get sick nauseated, watching a train go by
