Thank you. Most informative. My Dutch and Palantinate German Loyalist ancestors came from around Poughkeepsie. One of them was put in jail by the rebels for his loyalist sympathies. Later, they all fled to Canada and joined Butler’s Rangers.

i'm a decendant of schuyler.................just look at the hawley, morton, schuyler, and church last names in my DNA test. i wish i had known i was his relative. but its way too late..................i'm writing an essay about my newly discovered relatives. one chapter will be about the general and my thoughts and feelings. i was adopted and at age 48 i'm finally finding my real father's family.......its not my fault i decend from his roots. but he fought for america. people forget about it. modern folks don't care, they always look at the bad things about american icons. not the good.

Why is she talking about black pgaroahs and black dynasty in this day and age? Or that Ancient Egypt was settled in 6000BC from Nile valley(dont understand what that mean) qwhilst Nubia was settled in 5000BC by "African people" from the sahara. Like what the heck!!! Gatto is a member of her team. Her conclusion is infact that culture (and likely populations) moved south(from sahara and Nubia) to north(upper eygyt). Upper Egypt where ancient Egypt originated from went from directly Badarian/Tasian to Naqada to Ancient Egypt proper. But Badarian/Tasian/Early Naqada are part of a Nubian pastoral culture, with the culture starting over 500 years before it came to Egypt. It is unacceptable that this fact been grossed over by some scholars. And one wonder why??

According to long-time Brookside Museum volunteer Chris Morley (1922-2011), he rescued some of Wooley's glass plate negatives. Wooley's former studio was being torn down to make way for what is today the Cumberland Farms on Milton Avenue. Chris took a few boxes of negatives out before the crew filled in the basement. It always bothered me that many more images were lost because of this "urban renewal." Will Garrison, SCHS Collections Manager, 1990-1992.
