Kailee Mills Foundation’s mission is to reduce fatality and injury resulting from non-seat belt use through awareness, education, and community involvement.
Rose Liardon $10,000 Scholarship WINNER!
HELP US CONGRATULATE ROSE LIARDON on being one of our $10,000 scholarship recipients! Her creativity and hard work on her application and campaign resulted in reaching over 1,500 people and raising over $1,000 for KMF. Rose said, "There were several personal interactions I had with people as a part of my campaign journey that have impacted my passion for seat belt use. For example, I spoke with a girl named Ann Katherine in the Young Women’s Leadership Club. After I hosted a seat belt safety activity, she explained to me that my lesson actually left her inspired. Ann Katherine explained to me that when she has skipped out on wearing her seat belt in the past, she has never thought about how it could affect her loved ones. This conversation filled me with more fire to continue this campaign as spreading awareness truly does work wonders."
What's unique about our scholarships is they don't just impact the recipient...their campaigns impact and save thousands of lives in the process. What's ALSO unique, is that we award scholarships in memory of lives lost from vehicle crashes. Rose's scholarship is awarded in memory of Makayla Bonura, who lost her life after being ejected in a crash at only 16 years old. We are blessed to help Makayla's memory live on through Rose.

I ALWAYS wear my seatbelt.
Just got in.a wreck the other day hit by a person turning left when they should have yielded to oncoming traffic in Tomball Texas every one was wearing their seat belts and nobody got injured my truck the bed was all bent up but not totaled but the person who should have yielded got their car totaled
I literally live right down the street from this place
This happened in my town magnolia back in 2015 I believe so sad
Back in the 80s my dad got in a bad rollover truck accident and got ejected out the window luckily he landed in the grass but broke femur and other injuries and he wasn’t wearing the seat belt if he was he would not have been ejected out of the windshield and would have been fine always wear your seat belts
This is where I live I live in magnolia Texas and heard about this
I remember my dad told me about a crash he was in back in 1985 and flew out of the house and wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and broke his femur and other injuries he has alway made us wear them and has warn them ever since
The foundation actually came to my school and game a speach at magnolia west
And this happend close to my town of magnolia texas
Always wear your seatbelt before I even leave the driveway I make shire my passengers Are wearing it

I taught my three kids since childhood to wear seatbelts, they are adults and haven’t stop using them.

My daughter was not one for wearing her seatbelt. But the day she left her boyfriends house she absent minded put on her seat belt. No 4 blocks away she lost her brakes at a red light and collided with a van. She knows that had she not put on her seat belt she would have gone throw the windshield. She still doesn’t know why that particular moment she put on her seat belt, but since she has never forgot to put on her seat belt on since. Someone up there was riding on her shoulder for luck and she got the best blessing ever.
I'm alive today cause I didn't have my seat belt on. When God is ready for nothing will change his will NOTHING!

I’ve always worn my seatbelt. Without it I feel necked in a car. I’ve been in bad enough wrecks in race cars that without a seatbelt it would have killed me multiple times.

I put mine on bc my brother tows Vehicle's in accident happen ..he told me to make it a habit..I do..he told me you don't want to have to clean ppl body parts up off the road or trees..so please always Buckle up..

I got into a car accident...this was back in the 90s..I mean btwn 93 or 94...I was coming back from a skiing trip...we got hit head on...I was the only one not wearing a seat belt...I was still rushed to the next local hospital about 15 mins away from the accident..My mum, my uncle and a few friends came to the hospital to see me...please wear a seat belt..I walked away with cuts and bruises
I do wear my seat belt but I did grow up when you didn't wear seat belts. I later became a EMT and really seen the importance of this. Please wear yours
