Great film thanks. Not the average boxer film story, extremely funny, hard hitting n gritty. Personally I would’ve liked to see a little bit more training and build up with their previous fights. The idea of two boxers sharing a car journey and they just happen, to have had a relationship with the same girl, doesn’t quite work. The film was just a teeny bit slanted, to be about their girlfriend than should be, and not enough about boxing. Although that could’ve been a great idea, had it not been quite so cheesy and about them all being friends no matter what. It would’ve been a bit better had they actually had a real fight and separated. Or just made their own ways to the fight, as would be the case in real life. They could’ve had their own cars and driven together that would’ve worked better I think and not have such basic ideas, as not having money for their fuel and food bill. Everything else was absolutely spot on. I would’ve liked to see different outcomes for each of them at the end and Grace to get some investment for her products, from some winnings at the casino. It just lacked a certain something in terms of reality to shock and portray, the more brutal realities of life. Which is what the main theme of any boxing story really is and should be. The closest it came to that, was the bit near the end when Grace gets hit. It tried to be too many things, for too many people. I did really enjoy the ride though and is good enough for younger audiences. There were lots of great funny moments throughout that contrast the hardships they endure, keep you guessing and change the mood. But sometimes it’s good to dwell on things, before being distracted quickly, from those thoughts and feelings. I thought Lucy Lui getting in with Rod Stewart and going to the fight anyway was bizarre. If you’re going to leave a film story, stay left out. Apart from these fairly minor criticisms, they could’ve just added something more, or tweaked it slightly. It was truly epic, thought stimulating and emotionally provoking. Perhaps there’s some deleted scenes that would give the finishing touch? 9.4/10

The audio goes out because who ever uploaded this to CZcams wouldn't pay the copyright fee for the song that is playing. That's why there's no dialogue between the characters at that time because a song is playing in the original.

With the exception of the utterly beautiful leading lady, this is just not worth watching. Second rate actors, direction and historical accuracy.

The only good thing, they didn't censor the movie like other pussy channels on here.
