this is not only THE tomgreg song to me, but also The song of tom's repressed homosexuality. i made a point in choosing scenes that i felt were specific to that aspect of their dynamic, and in the end bringing it home to greg's end of things as well.
i feel like i've had this video just living in my head for nearly a year now. i was almost afraid to attempt it just bc i wouldn't want to not to the concept justice bc it's so precious to me, i figured maybe SHOULD only exist in my head where it can stay perfect. but in working up to a post-series based project i've nearly hit the end of my rewatch and i needed to make something NICE as self-care before doing the last 2 episodes bc rewatching s4 episodes back to back is kind of brutal. anyway i'll certainly make at least one more thing for them with this song just bc there's so much pure tg emotion in it. i'm tomwambsgans on tumblr.
