It's not Shirk, it's called Tawassul. It's like saying, O'Allah grant me this or that for the sake of your prophet pbuh, or for the sake of this or that Imam. You are not praying to the grave or the dead. As Muslim we face the Kaabah, we go to Hajj and Umrah and try to kiss the black stone, do you consider that Shirk? Are we praying to the Kaabah or are we praying to God? The answer is to God and we're using the Kaabah as a medium because it was built by Prophet Abraham and his son Ishmael.

@@subscribeforgoodluck1806 Imam Bukhari himself narrated in his Saheeh Bukhari that Prophet Sallallahu Aalaihiwassallam had forbidden Muslims to erect buildings on graves.Allah cursed Jews and Christians in Al-Quran for this act.Wama Yukbalu minha Shafaatatin wala yukhazuminha adlon wala hum yunswaroon.For tawassal the person should be present in front of you from the Hadith of Hazrat Omar Ibn Al Khattab in Saheeh Muslim that Hazrat Omar Ibn Khattab said O Allah accept our prayer by tawassul of Hazrat Abbas and at the same time Hazrat Abbas was praying to Allah for rains.There is a difference between tawassul and istaanat.These people are doing istaanat not tawassul.

@@subscribeforgoodluck1806 it's clear shirk period. Where is the place that muslims should learn Islam from ? It's the Arabian penunisla where Makkah and Madinah at. So here in Saudi Arabia we have pure Islam that came from the prophet pbuh. Asking another person except Allah for anything is Shirk. Even if he was Mohammed pbuh. Shirk is almost kofr so we should be careful where we learn our Islam from. May Allah Guide us (you, me and all readers).
