Thanks for posting this. When one is working the race, it's easy to miss out on the fun! You got some great footage, except for the woman with the goofy smile.

Needs a little more weight.

If it is a condensate well it is probably a mixture of many gaseous products; Everything from methane down to butane, propane and isobutane. Usually wellheads take this mixture and pipe it off to a small plant that separates out the gases. You can even have a 'sour' well that has a bit of hydrogen sulphide (rotten eggs smell). Before it is processed it is a witches brew of lighter ends and there may even be some natural gasolines (mostly in liquid form, may contain hexane, heptane, octane) that come along with it. If it is a sour well then they are fighting corrosion in the combustion chamber as well. Pure gas wells do not need a walking-beam-arm type pump to get product out of the ground

Seems to be a bit draggy on the downstroke. I have long wondered how well balanced engine-driven pumps need to be. Apparently it's not critical. Near where I live there are some electric ones. Those are Definitely pretty well balanced. One of the most attractive industrial sounds is the whine of a 3 phase motor.

Does this well produce the natural gas supply to run the engine ? Is the NG cleaned or purified in any way before it reaches the engine ?
