🎵 The Lord of the Rings: In Dreams - Organ Arrangement by Manuel Böhm🎵
I'm back in Marienstatt Abbey in the Westerwald and very happy to present you my arrangement of "In Deams" from "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring".
The magnificent organ in Marienstatt, with its quite symphonic style, was just right for this piece. The strings, English horn, small tuba and quiet flutes of this organ are particularly incredibly beautiful and allow you to immerse yourself in the world of "The Lord of the Rings".
The large organ by the Austrian organ building company "Rieger" was inaugurated in the abbey church in 1970 and is known beyond Germany for its beautiful sound(s).The organ has 73 stops, IV manuals and pedals and over 5,000 pipes and stands above the stables of the choir stalls and accompanies the daily choral prayers of the monastic community and the congregational singing.

I just realized that John Williams must have been getting a decent amount of inspiration from Sir Edward Elgar.
Considering the pitch black night, people screaming for their lives deep within the ship beneath your feet, the pitch rising ever higher and more angled, and the band in resignation switches from popular tunes to this moving, deep hymn. The Titanic has moments before her final death, you as well, and as you slip into eternity, the simple string music fades into this mighty organ roaring, filling the Heavens with praise.

You said it! Although some testimonials also say the band also played a favourite of mine, Abide with Me, I'm not in the slightest bit religious, but I listen to this tune when I feel anxious.

I have never heard this before but i love it. The organ has such a mellow sound that goes well with your choice of music….or perhaps it was the stops you chose? Well done.
@@user-ph6yh4hs9z Thanks!🙏 I'm glad to hear that you like the piece🤗 The mellow sound is due to the choice of stops. In particular the Principal 8' from the HW has a very warm character and was therefore excellent for the melody. With some other 8' stops, gentle flutes and principals the organ sounds quite romantic, although it is actually a neo-baroque organ.😄🎶 For the accompaniment I chose an 8' flute and a soft 4' principal on the second manual :) Stay tuned!🤗😄🎶

Everytime a Star Wars fan has a wedding, this should be played in church instead of Mendelson.
This was played at mine instead of the traditional recessional. Our DJ found organ version. Loved it. So did or guests.
That was exactly what was played in my wedding, 22 years ago....
If I'm lucky enough to marry someone who is as nerdy as I am, I certainly will have it played. I was thinking the entrance music at the reception for being announced as Mr. and Mrs.
This should also be considered as a replacement for the traditional " Pomp and Circumstance" that they play at every graduation ceremony... Would be much more epic.
This organ is magnificant!🎇🎶 I love these strings and gentle flutes😍 Normally the piece is played faster. I like it a lot more when it is played slowly because it can develop more musically. What do you think?🤗

Ich dachte im 1 moment am anfang das es ne spanische trompete wäre und was neu im pedal dazu gekommen wäre hörte sich ziemlich kräftig an 😊
@@user-xp4ib3qu4w Die Trompeten sind tatsächlich "nur" normale Trompeten. Das müsste die Trompete 8' vom Hw mit der Trompette Harmonique 8' vom Sw gewesen sein:) Hatte schon ziemlich viel Power😁 War die Tage in Marienstatt... Die Orgel dort hat noch originale Spanische Trompeten von 1730. Das Video, wo ich die genutzt habe kommt denke ich nächste oder übernächste Woche 🤗

@@OrganSoundsProduction Hi, I don´t do instagram. But I generally do game videos and use music for timelapses. But YT music is usually blend and inattractive for me and I can imagine that building something grandious in WRSR would really use your take on this music (after all my musical talent is limited to guitar, so definitely not this type of music). Feel free to let me know, I generally am available here on YT and just didn´t want to "steal" the music without asking, seeing you respond to comments :)
