Maybe a K&N cotton filter (flat same size as stock) on the stock air box works better ? The stock box breaths from the car front (cold air) and this doesn’t

The belt on my R50 just started squealing as well, that is why I'm here. lol 2 weeks ago, I replaced both my radiator and harmonic balancer (large crank pulley) after it threw my serpentine belt and blew up my radiator, when the waterpump stopped moving. Luckily, it didn't blow my engine. Anyway l just came back home from a week's long vacation where l put at least 300 miles on the car and my belt started making noise just today. When l was doing my harmonic balancer project 2 weeks ago, I ordered a serpentine belt from Rock Auto, which is supposed to fit my car with air conditioning. but the shipping time was rather excessive. So the following day I picked up another at a local auto parts store. the one from the auto parts store was also a Dayco. So I'm guessing that this one is probably the culprit. Because it is slightly longer than the one that was originally purchased from Rock Auto .

Recently bought this UMX timber from somebody who bought it 5 years ago and flew it once and never flew it again can I ask does anyone remember if the green light on the receiver board /esc slowly flashes green after initialisation thanks 🙏

Thought I'd jump in here as I've had this issue for almost a year now and just figured out what was wrong. On every major parts web site, including Amazon, they show different size belts for first gen R50s. Using Dayco as an example (most brands use the last three numbers for the same belts), you'll find that 5060415 and 5060405 are both listed and said to be an exact fit for a Mini R50. 506415 is essentially an inch bigger than the 506405. I'm willing to bet that if your belt is squealing on your R50, you've got a belt that's too big. As I said, been dealing with this for almost a year now. Replaced my AC compressor last summer and have living with the belt squeal since then. I've replace the tensioner, alternator, and finally figured this out. Super frustrating but kind of the norm for these cars.

Its your idler pulley located above the crank pulley. About $40 to replace

that engine needs a thorough cleaning! It looks like the pulley AND the entire motor have been out at sea for decades. lol.
