System test 9 is almost here, and will be the last test you see with the MS-10UD! I’m also gonna make it my mission to clean this basement up as it’s gonna be necessary for the changes that will be made to the system

Filmed about a week ago Potomac Yard, an interesting sounding set of 6000 series trains passed through. Pretty cool in my opinion!

Update - As of May 10, 2024, the 2000-series trains have been retired from service completely. These ran from 1982 to 2024. With the apparent absence of the 2000-series trains on Washington, DC metro recently, I figured I’d post this clip I got of the Alstom-refurbished Breda 2000 series trains departing Rosslyn on the Silver line. Filmed this on February 9 of this year, showing cars 2000, 2001...
