I just bought an LTEK and the adaptor, I also just bought all the DDR games for the PS2, I already had Extreme and I Max. I can't wait to be able to play all of them. I am glad that the adapter works great.

Do the start and select buttons work when picking a song or do you have to use the PS2 controller for that?
@@thecamel2 the buttons do work, but only if the game uses start and select. I don’t think any of the US versions use start to select the song, but the Japanese versions do for sure.

Seems more playable then running DDR X arcade data. DDR X arcade can only run somewhat decent on SD mode. The High Definition audio is what causes so much input delay. I tried off stream to get X running in SD mode and it still felt the same to me. It also changed the resolution of both my monitors which is weird because usually a game only changes the resolution of the monitor it’s running on, so especially if I’m gonna stream it I would need a second PC to play on because OBS isn’t really useable at 640x480. But playing X on PS2 was still fun, there’s a lot of nostalgia here because it’s the last arcade release I was really looking forward to and following all the news for until A3.

Ah good JP version!! Good stuff man. I used to be huge in the rhythm community. I ran a namco store too, and am a tech/collector. I used to build pads for people. I have a DDR machine now. Came as a Max 2, but I hacked mine to install any version, which was a left over hack from when I modded my store machine. My kid play Pop'n on my channel. She's becoming a pro player. Was literally adding songs to mine when this popped up, so i delayed my update

On an actual arcade machine, I think it was a feature you had to pay extra for. On this, it’s a mod. There’s a few of them on the hex editor site (the same one used to adjust sync), such as always having DDR Selection interface, solid black screen filter, centered single player (like solo), .25 and .75 speed mods, and arrows above combo/judgment.

@@WckkeD make a backup of the original, then drag it into the web page. It will verify then you can start changing options. Then download the new one and replace the old one with it.
