You should do a video of a fort mac with the steering wheel setup. Going into detail on how it works would also be nice.
The Fort Mac with a steering wheel operates exactly like an XL with the steering wheel. Of course, it is a track-only unit and has no chains to maintain.

What a difference from Argo... I have owned a conquest for about 7 years & it will go to some nasty places... but... the learning curve is not easy. Also maintenance is a chore & repairs are plain nasty. In tge next couple of years I will change it & mud ox is on my to check out list...

Will it float on water? Alsport to me says it should be at home in most conditions tracks will work as propulsion. Seal the holes would love to see if she floats
They are amphibious, but it seems very rear heavy.

The original side by side: as a snowmobile! Maybe the cvt transmissions of the day didn't hold up, or maybe it was too expensive: I don't see any other reason for this thing to fail in the market. People up in Canada should have been all over this. It's a race car compared to an Argo.
As a kid I always wanted one of the banana splits 6 wheeled buggies but this seems more piratical though both are fun.

We repaired a bit of its mechanical side and made a windshield, but will probably leave the body as-is. This Tracker is very unique but very quirky.

Impressive to say the least! Great work! Also, if you are using a telemetry receiver, you can display RPM, battery voltages and othe stuff right on the NX or IX series screen which is nice!

I noticed in all of these Argo videos the tires are directional but on backwards why is that ? Shouldn't the V tread tires be facing forward to push out mud and water ?
Amphibious ATV tires are mounted backwards to propel the vehicle through water.
Can it swim with the Chevron Track?
Yes they do. At this time we no longer manufacturer the Chevrons. We offer the Ripsaw and Adair.
Is there a full cab configuration for the Fort Max?
The Fort Mac with 85 hp engine can only use the front cab due to the radiator and exhaust that mount to the roll bar. We are building Fort Mac's with the same 57 hp engine as the XL, which keeps all components inside the engine compartment, thus it can have a full cab.
Best vehicle I can imagine for laviciding mosquitoes.
Any experiences with thick 8ft tall bulrushes? Worried they will wrap around the axles.
We have a few customers that drive their Mudd-Ox's in swamps and had issues with those wrapping around the axles. To combat it, simply install loose-fitting PVC pipe around the axles. The PVC won't rotate with the axles, and keeps the weeds off.

Going over 50 miles an hour on balloon tires is really living dangerously! I was a kid when these atv's were popular. never even heard of a hurricane 6 wheeler.
Starcraft sold their ATV rights to Hurricane boats, who simply relabeled the remaining stock of Starcraft's.

I just learned about the Mudox. I am impressed. Over the past 40 years, I've owned 6 Argo vehicles. I will be taking a very close look at them before I purchase another Argo.
