Lovely job on an iconic Skaven character. So great to see you went with the green on the (warpstone infused) Weeping blades. Reikland Flesh is great over golds, you won't regret using it. I use the Raphael series (kolinsky) brushes and they're great for older minis as well as the new plastic ones.

Great mini... Except for one thing. Skaven shouldn't have bright shiny weapons, they should be rusty iron or corroded bronze. The poison looks super awesome though.

If you're like me and you routinely knock over your pots of shade and wash paints, something I've been doing that's helped a ton has been to stick a little bit of glue tac down and push your paint pot down on top of it. This has helped me immensely

Kolinsky brushes easily the biggest upgrade you can make to your painting. Great you got on board. Make sure you get some brush soap and keep the kolinsky's away from contrasts, washes metals and maybe even some big basecoating, will make them last a lot longer.

If you like those brushes, you wanna make sure to take good care of them : ) They actually last a long time with some TLC after each use. Trovarion has a good brush care vid. He actually says to use alcohol to get the flecks of paint out of the brush and then us The Masters brush soap. For Skaven, all I've ever painted was a Blitz Bowl team but I immediately fell in love with them. Lots of character without being hyper detailed and fiddly like a lot of modern sculpts. Just a blast to paint up.

You need a bigger paint rack my dude, I just banged one up from some cheapo bits of pine from Bunnings but it looks awesome when you can see all your paints lined up. Great job as always, my vote is for more high elves

I don't know how true it is, but I've also been told to avoid using my good kolinsky brushes with metallic paints, or washes as they can be harsher on the bristles. Personally I do basically cycle brushes from my detail brush, to base coat brush, to wash/metallics, just to be safe. Might be overkill, but so far, it's worked well. Great job on the model - really nice job. How about a 3rd edition Blood Bowl model - maybe Morg n Thorg?
