#antidrone #concealment specifically designed for broad-leaved woodlands in the spring and summer months, the baseline also works extremely well during winter, thanks to the ivy and oak shades of WIRC fabric. Pattern n.9 is a fully waterproof and breathable leafsuit, NIR-compliant under both active and passive IR systems. It's particularly lightweight: the Ghillie suit in the video weighs 500gr. A further advantage is its reduced propensity to getting caught in bushes and vegetation compared to cotton and mesh fabric, and its permanent 3D depth effect.

As I recall, back in the 90s, the BDUs were supposedly made to reduce IR signature of soldiers. But, even though, to protect that treatment, those BDUs weren't supposed to be starched, many units were told to anyway for garrison duty. Should have just gone back to the tan garrison uniform.

Soldiers could use some simple contraption attached to backpack for example to keep such camouflage methods away from direct contact with he body so as to manage the ones own heat and to prevent to camouflage itself from warming up and becoming useless.

I hope you are going to make a full body suit someday (like nightwalker from fibrotex). Poncho is good too but can't give enough cover to hide from PIR-sensors. A good idea for a demonstration video: get a trail camera, place it on a tree and walk along with and without a thermal camouflage. If it won't get triggered than the camouflage is good.

@@ProApto Nah. They don't have gloves, leg and feet cover, face mask. Maybe it's a good solution for anti-sniping job, but to avoid been detected by perimeter security systems you need more cover.

bet the real problem for usage on a person is finding a way to remove inside heat without making it visible as it comes off around the cloak
