The thinking mans woman..
We all have to start somewhere ❤
Pain is the sofa calling you 😂 Great athlete
Make it comfortable in the pain cave
Fantastic achievement. Feet up time.
I think that was the most amazing sporting achievement ever accomplished by any female athlete.. I salute Jasmine Paris. Well done truly an amazing world first.
Jasmin Paris is a straight up superhero.
Absolute legend!!
Wait, is that her baby??? So she had a recent pregnancy and then had to train around work and a new baby. WOW, that just adds to the awesomeness of her acheivement!!
I know right...she's super human with amazing humility!
This interview was in 2019. But your comment is still relevant: when she shattered the Spine Race record she was expressing milk at checkpoints for this child.
A proper hero.
Un vrai respect pour cette coureuse
Inspirational.
Congratulations Jasmine! On your recent victory, completing the Barkley!! Fully agree - it’s the BIG accomplishments like that which stand out amidst the general “humdrum” of life, and which serve as motivation for others.
"Barkkey"
@@TheTreedodger Yah stupid autocorrect. Looks like it got both of us! 🤣😂 (I snuck in there and fixed MINE hahahah)
Hard as nails
incredible woman
Making memories 😀💚
Do you offer from Doms
Well this aged VERY well ❤
Absolute Legend.
Looking for that barefoot running style in action
My pain cave is very shallow, but I'm always trying to convince myself to think about extending it back, to make it a little bit deeper
Thank you, that's useful.
Good to see you!
Great interview
Tragic
He chose Maybe Tomorrow by The Stereophonics Possibly THE most bland choice of a song anybody would hope to have with them while stranded on a desert island I mean seriously. So sterile and just …nothing . Slap bang dead CENTRE middle of the road.
I’m 6 2 155 but my mom tells me I’m gay but everyone else that height and weight is a professional athlete on the way to church so I say fuck u bitch
He could take any single world record that above the marathon distance.
I wanna see Eliud take down some world class trail and road ultra records, on roads/track/treadmill i think there’s almost no question he can take whatever record he wants, but for trails especially i think he should seek out something far out and personally significant/inspired rather than being influenced by a deal or anything. Like don’t just go for a big mountain FKT or a course record at UTMB or western states because it’s king shit, go for it because it sets your soul on fire and because it’s king shit
I think that would be very difficult even for Eliud
Kilian Jornet is the best 100mile runner and he did "only" 2:15 in the olypic trials. Lance Armstrong did a 3 hour marathon. It would be so interesting to see how good kipchoge would be at utmb or ccc. I'm sure he would do pretty good, but he wouldn't reach the podium the first season. I think usain bolt would do very good too, he has all the muscle mass and is used to he high impact. He could take a year of ultra training with ease.
Eluid vs Kilian! Let's go!
He could probably do 100 miles in under 10 hours.
if anyone could, I'd bet he could. I was watching a podcast that was estimating his cardio capabilities and guessing that he may literally be able to do a 7 minute mile pace and still be in a zone 1 heart rate. For those not familiar with that, that's the heart rate most people probably get from a brisk walk and is also well below the zone 2 that most ultra marathoners aim for (and what I had to do for an Ironman triathlon). And, he already puts on tons of mileage per week, so it wouldn't be a huge risk to his joints or anything either.
FKT's will be dropping like flies
Comrades Marathon is the only Ultra he needs to run
I think that it's a natural choice for a runner to increase the distance of their races as they get older, rather than the speed. A few years ago the average age of an ultrarunner was over 35.
dean karnazes seeing an opponent impossible to beat
Dean Karnazes, one of the most overrated ultrarunners...
Every ultra runner be like. 🫣🫣
Everything under 100k on flat eliud win, but 100k with mountains kilian win
He genuinely sounds like he wants to do it for the experience and the challenge, which in my opinion is a much more stable motivator than finances or status. Thanks for this clip, loved your "rise of the ultra runners" book by the way.
Time to link up with Goggins.
Goggins wouldn’t last one day with kipchoge.
@@wesleytwiggs7687maybe not for speed, but goggins would destroy kipchoge in distance
@@brty7812 I don’t think so. He’s not even ranked well among ultramarathoners. He’s just a CZcamsr.
@@brty7812 Eliud runs well over 100 miles a week. I think he would do alright..
@driver wasn't saying it to say he ran more, just that it was more than enough to be able to complete long distances. Kipchoge is also nearly 10 years younger and competed internationally for over 20 years with one of the best training regimes in the world. He would definitely outclass david
Eliud should try trail running
Can Eluid be the first to win the historical triple. Boston marathon, Comrade and utmb .
How is it the historic triple if no one has ever done it??
@@wesleytwiggs7687 because of a little thing I call sarcasm
I could see Eluid taking out a standard ultra like Comrades but not a Skyrun ultra like UTMB - the terrain and techniques are completely different.
Run first Athens-Greece authentic marathon course, where all started and named from and then run what ever you like! 🏛🇬🇷
He’s not gonna do that cause there’s no money in it
@@wesleytwiggs7687 100% right... this is the problem with this marathon! Let's hope for it because the atmosphere of this race at this course is a must for every runner!
@@iv1291 that, and the horrible broken English title haha
