Yushu has lots of place that is worth to visit, such as the source of Mekong River or Yangtze River, and you can also see lots of amazing and historical temples there, and the rolling grassland, and the local culture

I've been to Xining and ridden around Qinghai Lake .I also spent 10days in Yushu, which was a tremendous experience. We went to some temples in Chengduo and Nanqing, we also hired a local drive to drive us to the source of Mekong river , in Zaduo. I really miss those days in the Sanjiangyuan Area. Actually, you can see almost all types of west landscapes in Qinghai.

Thanks. The scenes are mostly in Sichuan, we just had 2 days in Yushu, then we went to Xining... I would love to come back for visiting more Qinghai! Where have you been in Qinghai?

@@valippfromthealps We went there pre-Covid, and spent 2-3 days in and around Yushu, and then went to stay 4 days with nomads East of the city. We visited the monastary where they do the vulture burials near Yushu. We also went to Sanjiangyuan to see the source of the Yangtse, Yello, and Mekong rivers (stunning). Some temples similar to the ones you were in. All around fantastic time. Seeing the cordyceps market in action in Yushu was great, too. We only flew through Xining, on the way to Xi'An. By the way, I grew up skiing and climbing in the Carezza area, close to Bolzano :-)
