Always dangerous to assume you have the best of it. I once had 8-9 of clubs and the flop came 10-J-Q of clubs, Q high straight flush and I went all in, my opponent had A-K of clubs for a royal, oh damn! I later figured out that I had the highest possible losing hand where only one other combination could beat me. Too bad there was no bad beat prize.

I can't help but feel like Lewis raised on the flop because why on Earth would anyone raise on that flop with a made hand... which is why he did it.

Would have folded after that reraise. When you know he has at least q trips and you would need to get the last 9 to win within the next 2 cards. Just nope

Amazing hand, but imo, there's another that I would say was a worse bad beat - being eliminated with quad aces... by a royal flush with Ray Romano at the table.

I have been playing poker for 15 years now. NEVER have I had the misfortune of hitting quads and losing to any sort of higher quads or better. Last time I hit quads in live poker was quad 5s; villain had QQ.
