I just found this kit! Huge wieght delete out of my tool kit.
About your bike: besides a very few other drivers you are one who makes theses trips with a very lightweight bike. Weight is everything. May I ask you: if I calculate correct based on the information you provide you have extended the oil intervall to approximately 3500km. This is far above the factory recommendation at 500km. Ok, you are not using the bike under race conditions, anyway africa should be enough forcing the bike. The oil repertoire in that bile is very less. Yours Holger
In terms of oil change, when I did the desert (Morocco, Mauritania and Namibia) I tried to change before 3000km; when I stressed the engine less, I changed even at over 4000km, but I topped it up at 3k.
Hello! Thanks for your authentic information you share with us! It is not neccessary to produce cinematic videos. Maybe one topic: would it be possible for you to take little care about "side noise" like traffic noise, etc. Would be easier to follow then. Thanks again! Yours Holger

Hello. What are you using to lube your chain?
Here in Africa I've been using a variety of products, whatever available: Motorex, Motux, local wax based,... some swear by gear oil....
@@biboandagape and are you also cleaning your chain every day or only lubing it every day? I'm just a bit curious.
@@SB-Kiwi I clean and lube every time I do off-road. Motorex for cleaning is best.
