Would it require everyone on the server to have it? Most of the people in my group just refuse to do mods.
It was raining so hard when I landed that I had to use the F2 key while taxiing to see where I was going and avoid parked aircraft.

Hey I downloaded this the other day for the Kiowa and gave it a try, even made a video for it. It’s a lot of fun however if you don’t have 10 rockets you can’t finish it unless I didn’t see something. Just an fyi. I think it’s a lot of fun for single player but you might want to add a wingman in the Kiowa version. I haven’t tried the Apache version yet. Anyway just want to let you know.
@@ricbish4122 you can call in artillery with Carsten gurk script or you can rearm. The convoy will stay in the same position. Please link the video. Would love to watch it.

@@kittyhawkdcs Thanks, yeah I saw the MP version when I went to get the link for the mission for my video. It definitely would be fun in MP. I saw the Artillery thing but don’t have that mod so figured it would not work. I shot the rockets when I was too close so they missed! Live and learn! @@ricbish4122 looking forward to it. The artillery script works as a script. You put out a map marker then use 8 digit mgrs and the F-10 comms menu to call it in.

Agreed Afghanistan looks great. This might be a dumb question but is there anyway to control AH-64 with just a joystick.. Can’t seem to find the settings to hook it up to my thrust master

This looks awesome and I seen another video of a guy on a playable aircraft carrier where he was the flight commander and now I am thinking DCS is where I need to be LOL Is there playable ground vehicles in here also? I always thought this was just another airplane game
You can play most ground vehicles with a module called Combined Arms. It's pretty limited though.
@@TonyChristy-dy7qv definitely give DCS a try. I won't lie to you, it's hard as hell, but very rewarding. They don't call it a study level sim for nothing😅

@@Mochithepoochie I absolutely believe it's worth buying. There is zero risk, if it doesn't work out ED is offering refunds. It's some of the most fun I have had in DCS.

Yyeeaaah. Growing up near Belle Chase NAS we seen the F15Es all the time and they are super badass. Very tempted to buy the DLC. Was going to get a new terrain but i need more bombs and having a 2 seater is awesome
I normally fly with a friend. But the power out in Texas. He does the flying and I make sure others do the dying 🤣. The F-15E is an absolute blast multicrew.

I haven't experienced any weapons dysnc since early in the release. We fly multicrew all the time. Check the f-15e playlist and you will find dozens of multicrew videos
Oh its working, along with Tpods seeing the laser from drones marking targets. Plus the map is really nice. A friend of mine told me it takes 45 minutes to get from one end to the other at Kandahar Airbase.
That was my first time experiencing the tpod seeing the laser. I was like WTH 🤣
@@kittyhawkdcs I was doing low passes to see if anything was down there since it was circling. Once the tracer fire came up I was okay they are there. Did a few drops just eyeballing it and they tracked. So I said let me try something. I turned the tpod on and was okay let's find the location. Saw the beam confirmed it was where I was bombing and was WTF this is awesome. Then hearing other guys find this out over comms and loving it also.

I had a blast last night on that map. Was on a server with drones lasing targets. No smoke marking targets. Had to use Tpod to see the beam showing the selected target. It was awesome.

I'm really digging the new map. Can't wait until we get the NE and Eastern sides of the map. They did a good job capturing the landscape. It's not all brown which I think people would be surprised to see. I have only encountered a few bugs but I'm sure it will get sorted as the updates keep coming.

Can you install SDBs without the Sufa Mod?
Honestly I can't remember. Been awhile. Last I checked the sdb didn't work anymore. They used to work not only on the sufa, but anything that carried JSOW A. Like the regular F-16 and Hornet.
Is the Kiowa a hard helicopter to learn?
Absolutely note. Definitely the easiest to fly.

@@kittyhawkdcs i bet. I tried the tutorials for the hornet and they were hit or miss if it would work. Showed up on target for the Mavericks but the JTACs, nowhere to be found. What is a good server to get on to actually do something other than fly around?
