Is it a leatherbound book ?

Looking to buy this. I get a great kick from setting myself a goal and if I achieve it then I get myself something special. This years challenge is to finally do a sprint triathlon. If I do it then I get to buy this book.

Are the side of pages gilded? I've seen other pictures and I thought the sides were golden, but it might have been the lighting, not sure.

I was placing an order with Folio Society tonight (my third), and I was tempted to pick up The Meaning of Mice. I was on the fence, but this video convinced me to order it. Thank you!

That portcullis would leave a gap in the middle that someone could crawl underneath. It would be about as useful as a marzipan dildo.

I'm excited to see Jonathan Burton's illustrations of the dragons in the next FS edition! Hopefully it'll be released this year.

I want all seven ASOIAF books bound using the near forgotten art of anthropodermic bibliopegy. It's starting to look increasingly unlikely that The Winds of Winter (Book 6) will be completed which means A Dream of Spring (Book 7) will probably never even be started. If this is the case then GRRM should personally donate the binding for his unfinished magnum opus.

What are the dimensions? Either that guy has huge hands or the books are quite small. 10" x 6 3/4" (my Folio Society Society books are quite a bit bigger than that). The first four ASOIAF books available, each as two volume editions in a slip case for £135 each.

I have this edition as well. Folio Society did such good work on this this classic.

There are two types of the 5 centime dark green French stamp at 2:50. One is common, the other has some value. Both were issued in 1876. Unless the upper right corner can be straightened without breaking off or tearing, the stamp is of little value, regardless of what type it is. Condition is very important in regards to the value of stamps. Everything else appears to be very common regardless of how old. Scarcity and condition, not age, are two important factors in determining stamp value.

Lots of blank spaces in a very mediocre album. A good starter for kiddies to build on.

If you don’t know what they are, why did you call them ‘Rare’ ? Just because something is old, doesn’t mean it’s rare, most of these stamps were printed in their millions.

Nothing here comes close to deserving the word rare.

These are very common stamps, except, may be for the French "seumeuse" that you have, depending on the back of the stamp and where it is stamped. I have all of these. I think, personally, the most beautiful stamps you have are the the Yougaslavia one, but, you have to go either to a stamp shop you know and ask him, or put it on E-Bay, and try your luck.
