My mother-in-law prayed for my father-in-law for over 54 years..He gave his heart to Jesus and played hymns on his player piano /organ for those 6 months and our son, about 15 at the time said he saw notes grandpa had put in his Bible , also ...❤. I have done a very deep study of scripture verses from Genesis to revelation to understand the pattern of God's view on the relationship between men and women in the context of marriage, in the home, in the church setting and the roles he has designed for them. There is a clear hierarchy or chain in command. In respect to qualification and equality in receiving the gift of salvation both genders are equal. It is abundantly clear that women are to respect, be submissive and obedient to their godly husbands. No if, buts or maybe. Husbands are to love their wives just as Christ loves the church and GAVE HIS LIFE FOR HER. Period. Please explain the meaning of " women should cover their heads because of the angels ". You omitted reading aloud this last part of the verse. If we preached the full truth in these matters our churches wouldn't have women attending church and the gifts, tithes and offerings would not be enough to pay the running costs of the church. If you send me your email address then I can send you my very extensive and intensive notes on this very hard to swallow topic.

Many I know talk about all of this and some that say they are Calvanist....just a lot of talk ...but I agree....we who are saved belong to Christ Jesus Who paid our sin debt in full. Hallelujah! Never really understood this passage , either, so thank you for clearing it up with the WORD OF GOD. 😊
