Cheap butane lighter bleeder tool - #zippomafia
zhlédnutí 710Před 2 lety
If the budget is tight and you can't afford an official bleeder tool like the great one that Kismit featured in his video: czcams.com/video/irD-9Z8W-lg/video.html, a ball pump valve is a better option than using a knife or other object that could damage the fill valve on your butane lighter. #zippomafia

Prevent identity theft with your Zippo lighter - #zippomafia
zhlédnutí 404Před 2 lety
Using the flame of your Zippo lighter, you are able to erase the details on shipping labels, medicine bottles, store receipts, or anything else printed on thermal paper. Not only is it cool to watch, but this can help prevent identity theft from naughty people sifting through your garbage. #zippomafia

i like this guy he's funny subbed
I don't own a zippo but still enjoyed watching this and think you did a great job showing some tips/tricks.
Old video but i got a question, after the wick is not working/dead or whatever, do you just pull the wick or do you have to do the s shape trick again?
Thank you, best video about this subject I ever found.!
❤ I'm doing sammich bag tip now, for all my Zips. Thank you!
❤ TopTips.
I simply replaced my insert with Zippo's butane insert.
Having an open flame next to that dry cotton is crazy
Excellent thank you. You’re probably going to be a resource for kids now and the future when people will be required to go analog. I’m sure they will be confused by the fact that they should be able to manage their own tools themselves. That’s what guy’s with grey in the beard knows. Good job 😏❤️🖖🏼🇺🇸
That's a good idea using the plastic to keep the wick uniform.
More catalyst equals more heat, use more in the head. Char prevents proper evaporation thus less heat, you may not notice the benefit of Carbon felt but it is there. Leave half or more Rayon and use a little Carbon felt each warmer.
Thanks 👌💪
the plastic is fort protect that is good thanks .
I use two thin putty knives (3/4") to push the cotton in. They double as a way to unscrew the Flint tube. Another CZcamsr [@Zippo Fanatic77] posted a similar video.
I love the clear plastic trick and Zig-Zag. Learn something every day
Thank you for your tutorial. Much appreciated.
May I ask how long did the heat last per 1 lit? I want to take my mom to Japan and would love to gave her this in case her hand freeze
Awesomely done thx..! Are you in the Swiss Alps somewhere hearing the cow bells in the background soothes your audience as well
thank you
Very good, thanks.
I had no idea that so many shipping labels are thermal paper! Thanks!
Does anyone really need a video to figure this 😂
Try using a printer flush ink pot felt. Its the best absorb all your oil.
Cool video. I've had an unusable zippo on my shelf for a few years . Because of your help , I can finally fix it. Thanks dude!🙂
The hinge is where it leaks from. Its always a good idea to store a zippo wrapped in a small plastic bag. This stops vapour evaporation. A zippo will normally last a few days without wrapping but if you wrap in a plastic bag it can last over a month.
Thank you for this video. You offer great ideas for Zippo improvement. Subscribed.

Which zippo version can hold more fuel and last longer given the same use? A torch or regular flame version?

@@Matty18795 i use the sandwich bag trick but i smoke a lot of green, it only last max a week
@@91lifetime23 I have put a little clip on my playlist. It shows how to cover the hinge.
Do you see a difference in the cotton? Does it make it last longer? What’s your experience with it?
Cool channel and tips, thank you!
When q disposable lighter runs out of fuel, remove the flint, it's still a longer one. I keep a couple under the felt
Great video and amazing mods! How do feel about the rubber gasket vs the sandwich bag trick? I guess the sandwich bag has the advantage as you said of providing a barrier to the metal so it doesnt scratch.

Thank you so much from Italy
Zippo flints suck,If you want a better quality flint. Get a full size disposable lighter and take the flint out of it and use it in your Zippo. It is a harder, longer lasting and better sparking flint.normally you will have to cut the flint in half... Another thing you can do is use Coleman camping fuel in your Zippo lighter.burns the same as lighter fluid and is a heck of a lot cheaper.a gallon of it runs under 20.00 bucks...

Make more videos, you seem cool and chil. Hope all is well.
Are platinum catalysts required? Those are really expensive ($25+). Can I use rock wool instead?
By adding more of the fireplace platinum stuffing to your warmer did you notice if the unit ran hotter? Seems that it should if you have an increased catalytic surface and also it seems it would burn more fuel. I don't care about fuel consumption, but I would like a warmer unit. Let me know if you have the time please.
Brilliant idea with the “necklaces.” I had a jacket that had two inner pockets that were located on both sides of my heart, where I would put hand warmers in each while working in -40C degree weather. I always wondered what I would do if I did not have that particular jacket. The “necklace” is the answer. 😊
Cool video
Ive had mine about a year, I've actually only ever managed to get it to light twice.
Huh? I've heard they get to hot. Maybe yours is defective.
Awesome video. Thank you.
i just got one and it works fine for what its intended for you put it in your pocket and when you put your hand in its nice and warm, its not meant as a body warmer
ONLY use a Jon E brand!!! :) Well, that's what I heard. I sure LOVE mine. I bought it at Goodwill years ago, not knowing what it was...a couple bucks. And I just could not survive our snowbound winters here in Washington State, up by the pass. I cannot recommend these enough!! My baby will last 8-12 hours and Ive never really filled it UP up.
Clever ideas, thanks!
You know....After all these years this is the best Zippo repacking tutorials I have ever seen. JOB WELL DONE !!!!
My grandpa was driving and his leg started to burn/ hurt . He had overfilled his zippo and it leaked thru his pants. 1950 era. If only they had ziplock bags back then. Lol. So smart buddy. ... 👍 Good thinking.
Wrapping tin foil over it will shut it off quick.
You can also put a spare flint in the center hole of the felt as well
Thanks for the tutorial. I just finished Zippo, and I have to say. it worked really well.
Absorbs "faster"? What's your hurry?
