Great photography and great views, well done to the camera man, I have really enjoyed this trimendous video, if you ever want to go to this place, take the safest care while you are climbing either up or down, but enjoy your day.

A beautiful ship. Love the sleek elegant design. So much more aesthetically pleasing to the eye, than the horrible block of flats on a barge, that so many modern ships look like.
Shortly after my visit , I had relieved a request for donations for daffodils at the garden . NTS has now lost me as a member ! Daffodils donation requests with many people living on food banks , with many illegal people entering the country illegally that get fed and housed , and the NTS appealing for donations for daffodils 🌼! Well well ,
Sitting by her and listening to CZcams video
Concentric!
Excellent video. It looked a very calm day.
Glad to see that she's still around!
I can say here here to that, it's a great paddle steamer, l used to go on the Waverley, but because of old age l don't like going on the steamer anymore (but you never know the day).
I have a video of the maiden voyage of mv calendar isles, I was only 7 at the time but we sailed round the island and spotted submarines and everything was great, I’ll fish it out one day and see if it can be made digital
I have the utmost respect for these highly skilled people who are committed, dedicated and voluntarily risk their lives for others. THANK YOU XXXXXXX
The station now has a new more up to date modern Shannon class lifeboat . This was footage of the old Mersey class lifeboat heading out on exercise , I also think from memory it was the previous coxswains Alan his last launch . A bit of a special occasion.
well captured right place right time
I wonder how many immigrants they will save with that
Scotland many many many miles away from the English Channel thumbs down from me.
Great to hear that Oban has a new Lifeboat - may it save many lives at sea, also good to see a good turnout in Oban for this effort.
Oh those gardens - how gorgeous! Delphs & Thistles - the blues are my favorites. That is a wonderful home too! Thank for your video - such a delight!
The migrant taxi 👍
Maybe not at Oban on the West Coast of Scotland!
This video is Sooooperb, always enjoy watching these ferries coming in & going out, also the videoer has captured the sounds of the birds chirping, so that is excellent - a very big thank you to the person who made this trimendous video - keep safe.
Shouldn't these boats be in the War Zone?
As the commentary in the video says due to the issue at a time of war , warships can not travel through the shipping strait between Turkey and the Black Sea. That being the problem.
many of these sites are 5000 years or older, continous use for thousands of years, a culture older than even china
Darn, missed seeing them. Hopefully it will not be long before they can do their jobs in the Black Sea. Better RN's old ships go there rather than be scrapped.
The green party have exceeded the green ferry, it doesn't use fuel, it just sits in dock. A pile of shite!
I wonder how many more mangers they will sack for more delays ……the saga continues…..
What is the music that opens this video?
Mendelssohn? Brahms? Mahler?
This video I did in July 2022 , I will have to look it up. I know the music I paid for is royalty and copyright free . As I am earning revenue from the video . I use a uk music company AKM music . The music track is on my computer somewhere, will get back to you.
@@standrewpics TUVM!
Thanks a million for this great video of the Life boats, l love every thing about the sea and boats, now sometimes there's a program on the TV about Saving Lives at Sea, and if there is a program that I love it's got to be that one, so I want to thank those who air that program, some times it's only half an hour, but mostly an hour, but what ever it is, l will watch it, so thanks again and keep safe.
My word. her bow is ugly. The ugliest I have seen. Does anybody know if that is how she was originally designed, of if that aberration was added afterward? I presume to allow docking at different port configurations? I can imagine they got away with it as it went cross channel short hops, generally broadside to the prevailing swells .... But if is the first time she is moving closer to the Atlantic ... what is that monstrous bow going to be like when she is pushing from Pembroke to Rosslare in a meaningful Atlantic swell running up the Irish sea?
Yes a very short frontage to this ship, the vessel was built like it. Built by Belgium ferry operator many years ago . Original route Oostende to Dover before that route closed. Yes a bit ugly that front bit of the ship as you say , I agree.
@@standrewpicsthanks Andrew! Very informative. Fascinating that any naval architect would design anything so monstrous! Thanks again for the posts! At least know it won’t be a shock with I sail on her next month. 🙏🙏
I went on that exact boat
Where’s the other half of it?
A trimendous video of the Botanic garden in Dundee, & yes it is definitely worth a visit.
This was the Darnia with Sealink British Ferries without the ballast installed on it!
Ex Stranraer to Larne ferry . Later had the hull sponsons added for stability. Think her may have been scrapped by now.
It may be reopened in a Cople of years!!!
For a ferry this was definitely quite a luxurious ship, I went on it in Summer of 2023 and thought it was very nice.
Most beautiful I’ve ever seen it! Thank you for braving the rain and cold for us❤🌿❤️
Glad you enjoyed it
What a great name for a supply vessel Ross Eagle - also former name Highland Eagle, may she keep sailing for many years to come.
Seems to be doing same work at Rockall , the last bit of UK land in the Atlantic .
Drove past maidens castle on the bus . Amazing site wow
Imagine all the people who walked and worked and fought there wow
Thank u amazing 😻
Wow interesting
Did you not see or just leave out the other small ferry cuz it ain’t that interesting just wondering
She’s looking good isn’t she!
Scot Govt simply cannot provide high funding like the German Government managed within 18 Months for the Werften shipyard which will now build Submarines and received an Injection of $261m & $85m as well as Guaranteed military orders, it can only support various projects within the terms of its annual budget and now we hear the news that the Scot Govt Funding will be cut again.
Yes I wonder , they have a need to replace the aging smaller ferries as well . They are holding off announcing the ship yard for building the replacement ferries. Due to budget restraints I believe . But they will have to invest in small vessel replacements very soon . Scotland also used to have funding from the EU not so many years ago .
Go to the French coast NOW,..1000000 migrants are waiting for you .
Didn’t the challenger go to Lake Ontario
I worked on challenger from 1994 till 96 when emporer arrived , former Jutlandier renamed Provence

Great to see Regal Princess inbound on the Clyde , also to hear the birds chirping as the huge cruise liner comes to her destination.
Great good to have her back
The fact is the new aircraft carriers can fit in inchgreen ,it is an absolute disgrace this is lying derelict
I visited Minehead for the second time and the weather was just like this and I caught the view from the village street towards the castle and was captured should have stayed another day to investigate. It’s on my list. The very best of England 🏴! A castle, sea front, fields and forest, hills and rivers. A warm welcome.
I have not yet visited the Castle even through I am a National Trust member and can get in for free. I am now living in Scotland. Minehead was once a four hour drive for me. A nice area . The castle grounds are quite extensive and the town or village of Dunster is nice too. Could almost spend a day looking around I think .
Great pictures & videos of Western Ferries, with seagulls squaking in the background.
Good video pal in old misco building I done security in there and full brand new bed brand new couches 175000 brand new pips put into skips over 6 months roll copper wire put into skips seams to me Cal Mac are jumping on anything thay can get there's hands on paid by Scottish government that's fact
Will she and her sister be refurbished to provide the same level of service as the Fusion class anytime soon?
Well I know that they do not need both Spirit class ferries at the moment , one of them is ether at anchor in the Dunkirk anchorage or laid up in Calais . I am not certain that any investment will happen with the two older ferries .
This ferry May become an Irish Ferry ?
This ferry is has now been acquired by Irish Ferries and will be renamed , entering service with Irish Ferries on the Dover - Calais route in June .
What a trimendous video of the Calmac ferry Lord of the lsles on lslay route, & what a great lot of ferries Calmac has , l hope they all keep going good during the course of there life .
