Lovely guy, and Tom is so gracious.
"My Sweet Civil Law"--given the moment in George's life, this is truly hilarious, as is how Idle managed to incorporate "My Sweet Lord" into the show without triggering any legal reciprocations. But even better is how perfectly George slides into the unlikely character of Pirate Bob, hobbling about on a with a fake parrot tied to his shoulder, so deeply dedicated to 'acting.' The "Quiet Beatle" is in no way apparent despite [Palin?]'s blandishments and assurances that there is no 'Pirate Sketch.' "Well up you!" cries PB and hobbles off stage, setting us up for an even deeper dive... This is my "Christmas Movie" every year. You can have your White Christmases and you can tell Virginia there's an abundance of Santies. I'll stick with Harrison because he's not really quiet, he's cheeky as hell, and he's the secret final member of the Pythons.
