The First Housemaid is really made me want to read more of Freida’s books. But you already know how I felt about book #3 it made me so mad. Made me not want to read another book by her. I’ve only read that trilogy and One by One. I still have The Teacher and Never lie on my shelf to read.

I just counted and I have 24 series going. My favorite is Fourth Wing (waiting on book 3 to come out), followed closely by A Court of Thorns and Roses (I am on book 5) and am planning to start Throne of Glass Series when I complete A Court of Thorns and Roses series. The Cupcake Bakery Series by Jenn McKinlay (a cozy mystery series that I enjoy when I need a break from all of the heavier books), I am waiting on book 16 to come out next year. The nice thing about series is that there is always another book to read.

Sis! I just bought 3 Frieda McFadden books at Target! Soon as I got off of work this morning. I have the 1st & 2nd of the House Maid series, I couldn't find the 3rd one, House Maid Watching. And I got "Never Lie" too. 😊 I'm working on my book collection. I'm a thriller/mystery/"whodunit" type. 😁

The J.L Seeger’s series is sooo good! I will say the second book is broken into 3 books and Melanie will drive you CRAZY! I’m currently about the start the newest book in that series.

Girl!!!! I almost DNF The Housemaid is watching, too and definitely felt like I was gonna be put in a slump . I had to set it aside and start something else. My sis in law told me stuff don’t pop off until chapter 40. And she didn’t lie! I felt like Frieda wasted our time with this. If it wasn’t for the end and the epilogue it would have been complete trash!!! Definitely very repetitive the first 40 chapters.

Nothing… I just learned what “hall pass” means. I never heard anyone use that term for that situation and I it lol I have expiration date and been wanting to read it but if it’s in a series ima have to wait because I’m already in the middle of 10000 series 😂😂😂

Lord that ending of binding 13 was insane that’s what makes me want to keep reading the series buuuuut at the same time it was wayyy too much dialogue like we could’ve kept half of it out

I own Binding 13 and Children of Blood and Bone and will have to see about starting those series this year. I am going to have to read Soul Ties because that sounds like the type of mess that I would love. I love messy.
