You don't really have to use a chalk paint do you? A lot of videos where they use interior exterior on furniture and comes out fine.

I love seeing your video! Ive just had this thought in my head today and im excited to bting life to my 5 yr old super comfy, but gone from bright white to embarrassing egg shell color couch. Its two pieces, each 3 seater that form an L. I was wondering how i am i going to paint this thing with the aerosol cans ive seen, then i saw your paint brush!!! Im curious about the "chalky" paint. I may have missed the reason for that? Was your couch a velvet material? Mine is just fabric. Id love your thoughts if you see this!! Ill give u a pic bc id ❤ your input on a color! That green you chose is beautiful!! Im thinking id love a metallic blue!! 💙 But not so much for the kiddos, so im hoping to find a metallic bronze'ish color 😂 idk! I hope to see a comment back from you. And I just realized I've got my son's CZcams typing 🤦🏻‍♀️.

You did a Great Job!! Your living room is gorgeous!! Looks like a picture right out of Anthropology. It’s funny how every chalk painted couch, chair I have seen painted comes out a completely discolor than you apply. I want to paint a pice of furniture that I found and it’s “Pink with small strips of turquoise. I would love the chair to be Navy Blue but Im not sure what color I’m going to get?? Has anyone got there furniture the same color they intended it to be when you finished painting?? Thank You 😁

Was the paint Deep Base or Medium Base?

Hello😊 your sofa turned out absolutely gorgeous! I wonder if you can help me, I also painted a sofa, with the same technique, it looks really nice but if you sit on it it's super dusty and you have paint on your body. I don't want to sand the last coat because the sanding removes the brightness of the color, and I don't want to wax it because I like the way the fabric feels right now. Do you have any ideas or tricks on how I can make that sofa usable after painting it?

Was wondering did you still spray water on the couch while applying the 2nd and 3rd layers of paint?

Thanks for the update--your videos are great-- Love the color you chose! I have painted 4 dining chairs so far(and am midway thru 2 more) and am loving how they turned out! I also done a side chair in the faux leather and love it as well! I painted in sets of two and each were different fabric so I'm enjoying seeing ALL the results! I have tweaked the mixture each time and have had better results each time!

What if you need to deep cleanse your sofa? Will the paint come off? Im painting it this green you did but I deep cleanse my sofas once a month.. please help.

This is very similar to my couch I want to paint. It has removeable covers and I wondering after painting will this mean the covers will adhere to the cushion insert and therefore be unable to remove after this process? I like the fact I can remove the covers for washing although after painting they may not be a logical thing to do as the paint may slightly wash out a tad. Why does it have to chalk paint, I see some people use acrylic…can I just use matt finish wall paint? I have a massive tin left over from painting a few years ago and don’t want it to go to waste so thought I’d use for the couch.
