    Great video . Thank you . I was wondering what happens to the fuel tank when bike is parked under the the sun or when we ride in sunny days? So keeping the tank in the shadow will make any difference? Just curious.

    Brotha I just bought a 2013 Kawasaki ex650. I was doing maintenance on it and noticed the line that the fuel breather was broken and I have no idea where it connects to after it comes out from the tank. Would you happen to know where it connects too ?

    • @revhp4466
      @revhp4466 Před 2 měsíci

      I believe you are referring to the two hoses coming out at the back of the fuel tank(which should be visible after you take the rider seat off). Viewing from the left of the bike, the one nearer to you is the fuel drain and the other is the tank breather hose. Regardless, both are to be routed at the left of the bike under the fairing to point down and open to the atmosphere. The routing clamps for the same will be located: Clamp 1(For both hoses) Above the front sprocket cover. Clamp 2(For fuel drain hose) Between the gear shift pedal and the alternator cover. Clamp 3(For both hoses) Below the side stand mount.

    Hey brother great video! It helped a lot when I changed out my spark plugs. I do have a question though. I moved the TB butterfly valves the same way you did on minute 25:14 and now the bike idles really rough and it fluctuates in RPM without touching the throttle. Is there a way to set the valves back to their original position?

    • @revhp4466
      @revhp4466 Před 4 měsíci

      Hey, Thanks so much. Glad you liked the video. Coming to your Tb, when you turn the key on, can you hear the secondary throttle actuator prime? Sort of like a clicking mechanical actuator sound. If yes, I would move on to self diagnosis. Turn the ignition switch to OFF Turn the ignition switch to ON Display the odometer on your dash and press the left button (mode button) for more than 2 seconds to start the self-diagnosis mode Then the service/error code(s) should be displayed if any. From the error code, you'd be able to figure out what the issue is.

    • @revhp4466
      @revhp4466 Před 4 měsíci

      Hey, Thanks so much. Glad you liked the video. Those passenger grab handles are oem, they actually come pre installed with the bike in India. It's part of the rules here, if a company sells a bike in India, they're supposed to have some sort of grab handle for the passenger.

    Hello from the U.S., I have a 2012 ninja 650 and I'm about to do these jobs on it myself. I love how informative the video was, as well as the video quality of it with all the close-up shots of important parts! Something a lot of other video makers are missing, so thank you. My only real question is what size spark plug socket is needed to remove the spark plugs? I don't recall you saying that in the video. Thanks!

      Hey, Thank you so much for the kind feedback, really appreciate it. We're glad you liked the video. It really does make our day. The spark plug socket size is 16mm. There's more information about the requirements for the job in the description of the video as well. Please feel free to reach out if you require any further information.

    • @revhp4466
      @revhp4466 Před 7 měsíci

      Never got a chance to test the top speed as it's above 200kmph but the rev limit has gone up by 1k rpm and expected bhp increase of 1.5 bhp upto 3 bhp with the exhaust and airfilter after a dyno tune. An ecu flash would get you a better performance increase and full de-restriction.

    is it necessary to do that ?? kya sirf Topup karne se nhi hoga?? I don't have any tools

    • @revhp4466
      @revhp4466 Před 10 měsíci

      Yes it is a part of maintenance! Overtime, due to its nature, the fluid tends to absorb moisture. This in turn affects the braking performance. It is recommended that you replace the brake fluid once in two years. If it's within the specified 2 year interval, and the fluid level seems to have gone low, only then you may top up(also make sure you check the brake pads for wear 😉).

    Hi, I have bought a 2016 model 5 months a back it's good. How much did the powertronic costed and how's the difference along with qshifter

    • @revhp4466
      @revhp4466 Před rokem

      Hey, the powertronic unit costs 22k, map switch is another 1.5k and the quickshifter is 13k, so it comes to a total of 36500 for the whole kit. You can expect an increase of 1 to 2 bhp at the top end, if your map is good. But, the fueling is a whole load smoother overall. The quickshifter is good too. Overall, if you have the budget and if you're looking for a nice power gain, I would suggest you to go for a full derestricted ecu flash, along with a standalone quickshifter system.
