This drummer knows the song. It's almost like it's Tom Brechtelin, oh wait, it is! Best band IMO the Blue Line trio. Jimmy Earl is obv a master but the tapping vibe of Roscoe Beck was just awesome.
Another absolutely brilliant performance by the greatest blues/jazz/rock guitarist in history. Unbelievable harmonic conception,time,touch and tone. Beautiful soulful playing and masterful musicianship.
Wow I've never heard him hit a wrong note before (3:06). Makes him human I guess.

Sorry, no wrong note here. He is playing the nineth - in Blues and Jazz a well known way to create tension. Not wrong, at all.
Daniel Kent, you’re right, it is a wrong note (unless he’s doing his eric dolphy thang!). You meant at 3:09 where he hits an “A” [be aware I’m playing this in Ab as I’m tuned down a tad] on the V chord (Eb7) which makes it a b5/#11 = a “wrong” note. Yes, even the greats are fallible.
Oh, nobody is perfect and I heard Robben grabbing next to it a few times. And as I met Robben being a humble guy he would never claim for ALWAYS being perfect - but it pretty annoys him:-). Yet, in this case there was no wrong note - all notes Robben plays are played intentionally, no mistake. The turnaround starts at 3:07 and ends at around 3:12. @outlawguitarslinger, its called the infamous Zendrive! Get one plugged into any 6V6 or 6L6 Fender amp and you are there, well at least 3/4 of the way, the rest is of course in Robbens fingers. He once told me before a concert the vintage AND RI fenders sound like DOODOO compared to his Dumble, well of course, that's like comparing an old mustang GTO to a Ferrari. Best drum beat ever too, funky!
Zendrive, yeah I've has one...mediocre in my opinion though of course I dont have Robbens fingers....
