The lights stay green? The flashing green should be on for up to 2 hours while it is charging, then it either goes solid green or blue (I forget fully charged statues)

If you are seeing 2 target remotes when searching / doing an upgrade. I'd turn of the bluetooth on your phone/tablet and turn it back on. Also make sure if you have a second waydoo, the second remote is turned off.

@@patrickmurphy8619 I just updated mine. On the current firmware, the version should end in A, B or C. It will automatically choose the right target when you select Upgrade on the app. For me I had current firmware ending in _C and it showed targets for _A, _B and _C but it automatically updated to the _C target.

Hey there! It sounds like you are trying to steer the kite with your bar all or most of the way out (depowered). Kites do not start to react until you have pulled in the bar so that all of the lines are near the same length. Once you depower a kite, you create significant slack in the steering lines causing the kite to feel unresponsive or slow. This is usually the case when you are on land as you are trying to depower to stay safe. I don't think that a wider bar will help much as it has more to do with how much tension you have on the rear (steering) lines. The selection points for bar pressure on the wing tips are different distances on all kite models. This is to stay in line with how the kite is designed. Every kite design is different and they determine the bar pressure setting's spacing at the time of designing the kite. You will get faster, more responsive steering with the "closest to the wing tip" setting on all kites however and you should try that setting on your next session. Hope that helps!

Hi Ben, I wouldn't say one is better than the other. both boards ride similar, the flysurfer includes a bag, but has pins that could be lost vs the Nobile that doesnt have a bag and the pins can't come out. I think both are a great option.

I would recommend the 7'2 due to the choppy conditions, experience and weight. The 7'2 will be much more stable and easier to learn to wing foil. It is a large board, but will be a great stable platform to start with, then downsize to a a 130/140L board later.

We have not had a chance to compare them side by side yet. I was able to get out on a 5m, but not the 5.5 yet. I would imagine the 6m is going to be a bit gruntier / more power due to the extra mini-struts.

Yes! I always use the stealth harness for big air. I personally like the surf spreader bar best. You can use the fixed position setup and it works great! The rope really helps reduce the pivot point, reducing it from riding up.

Hi, Kiteboard control bars are not measured by the bars actual width. They are measured by the distance between the steering lines. By flipping that piece around, it moves the steering lines out a few cm on each side creating a wider distance.

@@GreenHatKiteboarding Thanks! I didn't notice on the video, even though I paid attention to it, that steering lines moved a few cm. Maybe because I was watching on my phone with a small screen. I should've watched on laptop 😉

Happy to hear you like your board! Can I ask how much you weigh? I am 6'4" tall and 230lbs. I am debating getting the Lift3 board as I heard at my weight I will get at least 70 minutes of ride time.

@@JMGENTERPRISES I am about 5,7 and 160lbs, but my best buddy who we go wake surfing with is about your size and he rides the Waydoo with no problems at all. We get about a 60 minute ride with us and all the kids. It really depends if you are riding the foil and how fast you are going. Hope that helps.

@@JMGENTERPRISES I know you won't be disappointed it's a really solid board, I am about to purchase another battery for mine just so I can get a solide couple hours on the lake. The one thing is these boards are really heavy to haul around, living on a lake is a total bonus.

@@dougmiller8899 - I hear ya on the weight of those things. I can imagine. I have a water propelled jetpack which I use with my seadoo. But the jetpack and 35ft firehouse is bulky and heavy. I wish I lived on a lake! Haha. Last question. Do you have the first gen or second gen Waydoo? I heard the difference in volume is substantially lower on the second gen. Does the whine get annoying when riding?

4500 usd is what I'm seeing for the base. This one is 5500 I believe as it has a few upgrades.

I paid about $7,500 for the Waydoo and it is totally worth it

Did you replace your infinity bar? I am using Fore control bare with soul 15m. I am not able to make back lines shorten. In low wind a few times kite dropped from the sky behind my head as I were not able to stop it.

Waydoo has a 1 year warranty and should cover this. Please contact the dealer you purchased the waydoo from and they should be able to help with the warranty replacement.

@@GreenHatKiteboarding yeah I have the carbon one, I am going to re-engineer it, as where it hitches up on the ends put PU sleeves over those sections of rope and change the pulley Diameter to suit the PU diameter also so it doesn't bind up when switching stance. its a great idea its just needs a little more refinement. I will see if i can get a few more years out of it before upgrading again. thanks for your help, Big supporter of Greenhat, I heard about you from the OKKiteboarder. keep up the good work
