I still finished up with a substandard below-par picture applying your settings, I deduced that the Roku backlight is faulty, when low power mode is on (not my choice but Roku doing) the picture goes to SD sub-quality, maybe as low as 144p or 240p at most but still wishy-washy picture. I HAVE A ROKU TV, not Sanyo, TCL, or Phillips but Roku by Roku. I agree Roku operating system is easy to use and good BUT WHEN USED ON A CHEAP ASS ROKU TV, ALL THAT TECH GOES SOUTH along with Roku's reputation and SHARE PRICES. I assume yours is OLED or QLED which can have upto a single backlight per PIXEL. Whereas Roku just has a bunch of backlights in a hit-and-miss configuration affair and barely enough to light a 720p screen, nonetheless 4K 3840x2160 or 4096x2160. It still wasn't absolutely terrible until the MANDATORY low power cheats come in, so paranoid are ROKU claiming 100 watts, and it would be 150 to 175 watts to have a proper picture, they manipulate power, no matter what you choose, to save face, and their 100-watt claim, consequently we get the cheapest lowest quality Picture even when selecting 4K and trying to play 4 K CZcamss (on a 2020 Macbook Air 4K) at very best I got a 720p image very occasionally. I asked for 4k and on 4K channels, I want to see 4K, which even 1080p which I haven't seen since decommissioning my 12-year-old Sharp Aquos. Now I going to dump ROKU and get my 12 yr old Sharp repaired, I want to see quality TV NOT ROKU CRAP.
