Aw the little kids have come out for insults. If you looked at multiple sources for the pronunciation you would find an example using spelling "flamingo". Pronunciations to a degree are only theory; the ending "enco", inherently makes a slight "go" sound. The point is dude arguable said the correct word.
Honestly if you're watching Wheel of Fortune, you have way too much time on your hands.
