I recently purchased a Reverend Fatfish 32” bass and couldn’t be happier. Fit and finish is top notch; has a humbucker and P-Bass split coil pick-up with a blending knob to mix between the two pick-ups. Very comfortable and easy to play. I find I can traverse the fretboard faster and the tone is excellent. Lows are clear and the midsection are punchy.

It will sustain in what kinda extreme temperatures and what kinda extreme humidity? Thanks

Hearing your review, I almost had an attack of buyers remorse, that is till I looked at the JR2. Sorry, the APXT2 is exactly the body style I was looking for, Did not want, did not need, would not buy, a mini dreadnought. I'll be happy with whatever shortcomings I find with the APXT2. I am just starting my guitar journey at 69 YO, and already have a semi-hollow electric, a Fender grand auditorium style, a full size classical cutaway, and a couple of junkers. Frankly, I am looking for a daily driver... something I can take down and noodle with whenever the notion strikes. The work involved in getting a full size guitar out, and putting it away has made playing guitar seem more like work than playing. I look forward to the small lightweight guitar, and am pleased that it has more of a parlor guitar profile to the body. I will probably keep my other guitars, but I look forward to much enjoyment from my new APXT2, scheduled to arrive within 4 days.

Jesus, that tidbit towards the end about learning on the simple cymbal comes with a starter kit was huge for me. As guitarist dad who's learning drums on the starter kit i bought for my kid, i was getting ready to start shopping for a ride, i might just stick with what I've got and start looking at other gear for the time being. Thanks for that!

You should give your student the Tele....that Bobkat is awesome, but it'll require a fair bit of maintenance to stay stable and playable

I had a Harmony Rockett. My parents gave it to me for Christmas in the sixty's it had all the markings on the frets. My first guitar was a Stella Harmony that one had single fret dots. I love old Harmony guitars. I hope she picks the Harmony.
