Here I talk about and review TAU Tequila Blanco 38v Just above the glass I detect some minerality and then as I get closer I get bright agave and then some oily lemon zest. I taste the agave and citrus right away. The minerality hits on the mid-palate and then a nice vegetal pepper hits right before the finish. There is a nice light alcohol tingle on the finish which I didn’t expect from a 38%...

I purchase the blanco today because it was something new it’s the worst tequila on the market stay away. Smells like 100% rubbing alcohol.👎

Thanks for the review. I’m hoping to try Cabal at the LA Tequilafest on Sept 25th, 2021. There will be a lot of brands to sample, and I’m doing my homework ahead of time so I can limit my tastings to only the better brands. Several decent tequilas coming out of NOM-1480, and it sounds like Cabal is a worthy brand to taste/buy even though it comes in a pretty bottle.
I do the same thing and pre plan tasting events. Cabal is a must try! Let me know what you think after you’ve tried it. Have fun!
