Would be nice if someone would make a video of doing maintenance on the older machine. Showing a nice full lengthy video top to bottom to keep it running good and how to adjusting the stuff to make sure it is running accurately

They are called profile bars
Honestly it grinds your blades 3-4x more than manual, hollow wheels are overly expensive and not always even when you get it. Swapping wheels can also make the sharpen uneven, cost of labor/parts it comes out to be even but frees up a technician's hands with a spares 5 minutes. 6.5/10; will always ask to have my done manually
Price? This may be good for your DIYer. But why take the Pro out of the shop? ProEdge and Sparx have 85% of this market covered. My 12 yo daughter can run this, yet has no idea what a profile, ROH etc is. Pros are there to answer all these ?’s otherwise it’s just a skate shop

Work is replacing our current Blackstone machine for the automated... I'm going to miss doing it by hand quite honestly
The Blackstone Fireball looks like a major revised Dupiskate RS6 where the axis of rotation is like a Ferris Wheel. RS6 was like a record player in rotation axis. Blackstone bought Dupliskate in 2019. Regards

What are the two screws on either side of the bat gauge used for?
How often should the belt be changed?
So when I do that on the X01 the skate sits at the TOP of the Ruby wheel. I GET THAT it calibrates all 3 dials to the same height, but what I need is fine tune instructions to get it centered on the wheel from toe to heel. The PITCH knob I just bring down the same 30 or so clicks as the left and right. Sure would be nice to get some detailed instructions for the tri lie holder...=))
Anthony Llabres calibrate using the block. Then measure using a square to bring holder to the right height on grinding wheel. Just make sure to adjust all 3 knobs equally. I like to use a marker to make setting back to zero easy. You will have to make small adjustments for each skate. Just make sure to adjust pitch as you adjust the height.
@@robertrichards4057 I have a blade master machine and someone gave me a Blackstone holder. My current holder only has side adjustments. When adjusting skates on a tri holder do I leave the pitch as is and just adjust the front and back of the skate? The pitch in my opinion just throws a wrench into the mix. Thanks, BT
I just bought the x01. It was used from you folks. I noticed that my new vapor skates were not centered when I used the black calibration block for the x01. I had to lower the unit on all 3 points to hit center blade using witness marks. Is that normal? Wasn't sure how to handle the PITCH adjustment. What should I be looking for..?
