To be fair, hair naturally grows more on one side than the other (due to hair actually growing in a spiral) so the side with Mielle could be the side that has more hair which then gives the illusion of more volume.

I didn't think it was possible, and it holds for days for me. Im sure i read on the Tymo website that the Ionic Brush is supposed to be the premium one. Thank you. What’s crazy is I knew how to braid my own hair like this in high school and I had muscle memory it was easy. Now I’m 33 and I am back to beginner stage and relearning it so I can braid my sons and daughters hair 😅
