Since its been a year how do you like the cold air intake from Rough Country ? do you see any improvements on fuel or power? thanks
I actually removed it because it started acting a little weird. The throttle felt like it wasn't responding sometimes, so i removed it in case it was the problem. I haven't had the issue but 2 timed after. I did a video on it
@@DunnMotors I just put mine on yesterday and it is loud and I'm like you I don't know how I feel about it, my son loves it but I have a throttle controller from Windbooster and I love it my truck don't gear hunt or have throttle lag now with the cold air intake its something else. only time will tell I got it for better gas mileage I get around 18 mpg now I want to se if it can do better thanks for the Video.
You mentioned lift 3” front 2 “ rear. Who makes lift kit?
It's actually 3 in the front 1 in the rear. I made a mistake. It's called ready lift. Lots of dealerships use these. Thanks for watching and commenting on my video I really appreciate it 🙏

This is so annoying. I've been looking at used trucks and almost everyone say this. Why waste both our times? Writing down miles and price would save so such headache.

If you can find one of the stealhy heavy flywheels for the RFS motor it will help alot with the stalling and luggabilty. The sx flywheel is tiny. I have an 06 450 sx with the +14 oz flywheel and a 6 speed wide ratio tranny instead of the 4 speed and it makes the sx a blast to ride in the woods.
That's good to hear ! I like the bike, it just can't crawl around when needed and with the hydraulic clutch, its either, get on the gas or stall. Thanks for the information 👍 Enjoy the ride.

Boring but reliable cars. Good cars for women though. Water pumps have issues and are a pain to fix because of no space.

I have an 06 gs300 first year of this body style i just passed 200k miles car runs and drives like it did when i had 88k miles on it.
Congrats on the buy… I have a 2007 LS460L I bought it about 4 years ago with 119,000 miles, it now has about 192,000 miles. It’s been great but it certainly has cost a few bucks to keep on the road. One of the things that I did because I want to keep it a while was the interior bits that were melty, they affected all sorts of Japanese brands from about 2003-2012. The dash and the door panels melt and turn shiny and sticky. I don’t see why if the engine runs good and the trans shifts good. Keep it going, enjoy it.

Very nice car. I have a small Lexus, 2008 IS250 with only 141k mjles on it. Runs perfectly superb and smooth. Lexus makes reliable stuff.

Amazed by the amount of Tacoma owners that don’t know this.. that is Not a gear selector.. that is a gear limiter
Example: put it in 3 your truck will not shift past third gear

How has this bike been holding up?
I sold/traded it shortly after. But for 1000 , I think it's worth it. But I would look around on facebook market place for a used name brand bike 1st
I drove my '08 for many years, best GS model Lexus ever put out - motor & trans were super solid for me, never had to replace anything but wearable parts, it was incredible. Enjoy, looks like yours will take ya at least another 100k.

@bigdawg112 it was my runaround truck and I can load my dirtbikes in it easily . + it's AWD so my wife can hop in and not have to worry about messing with 4x4 buttons or anything.

@bigdawg112 Yes, I still have my Tacoma, but I Sold the Ridgeline. I'm always looking for another one though. They are great 👍. They are just hard to find for a decent price is all.

They're great cars, mechanically super solid. I drove an 07 for years before upgrading to a 2014. My 07 desperately needed suspension work and motor mounts which are quite expensive but it you dont mind a harsh ride you can probably keep it going with basic oil changes. I had a manager who owned a second gen with 330,000 miles on it...

My 19 TRD with ready lift suspension kit 3/2 was great except for the major vibration for apparently not changing out needle bearing . You have same issue?

i wouldn't put a dollar into fixing struts or seats or anything - drive it 10,000 or 20,000 miles and sell it - get your money back

@@DunnMotors i would try to think of it as your lease vehicle - keep it 2 years and 20k and try to sell it for what you paid = free car
Repairs are worth it if you are doing your own stuff or have a buddy to help. If you paying proper shop for repairs, you will get reamed 99% of the time.

good car - i had a 95 gs300 - the only problem with that car was weak front brakes compared to a mercedes or vw or any german car - front brakes warped and didn't have that nice feeling of a more luxury car

Have you sold it? I like it seems to have been built well. I think people still have a problem with the square headlights because it doesn’t have the iconic look of a jeep. I’m constantly looking at jeeps and every market has went up nice CJs are expensive, TJs have exploded in price jku are getting more affordable by yjs are still selling cheap and get less love than all the rest.

I own a 2013 GS350 with 115k on the odometer that I've had for about 4 years now. It just runs, never gives me any trouble. You probably got a good car there. I think the V8 engines are expensive to work on, but you should be okay.

If you’re able to and or have the time, I’d be really interested in seeing the difference in weight between the two tire and wheel combos. I’m currently on the search to find a lightweight wheel/tire combo.
