We are hoping to offer and create content that goes through the design process holistically, shows examples of projects that seek to develop at the pace and rhythm of nature, slowly but surely weaving the people, the technologies and the plants, animals, fungi, and microbes into true cultural agricultural and wild ecologies. We hope to promote a project-style that treats land as a conscious/living being to get to know and cooperate with in symbiosis, rather than a blank slate to quickly mold and accumulate stuff on. This process means that we will change and grow, we will step out of our comfort zones in some cases, and learn to live with less, but also in many cases learn to live with more (more love, more joy, more creativity, more possibility) and receive gifts we didn’t know were possible.

Un recorrido progresivo por nuestro bosque Comestible de 10 años. Explore todo el proceso de creación desde principio a fin (medio?), mientras que le mostramos un poco de su historia, y sus partes. Estas partes incluyen un bosque comestible, sistema agroforestal, espacio inspirada en la agricultura sintrópica, la reforestación natural y un bosque autóctono. También exploramos un poco nuestra experiencia en cómo el cuidado de este bosque nos ha formado, y un poco de nuestra visión sobre el futuro.

Estoy intentando algo parecido en el sur de España...y parto de un pequeño desierto...Pero en mi ayuda a llegado un arbol que me parece una maravilla....el Ombú....un arbol de sombra .. prehistórico....un fosil viviente que me esta ayudando a comenzar una jungla en un desierto..poco a poco iremos agregando mas clases arboles ...palmeras y plantas diferentes .❤😊

Hola! Así como tienen "Paw paw" (Asimina triloba), la única Anonacea de clima templado, podrían tener la pasifloracea "Maypop", originaria de Norteamérica como la Asimina. Está la leguminosa Apios americana, "Groundnut", un tubérculo rico en proteínas. Y el Tupinambo.

Moi guapo o docu. Parabéns. Eu levo 6 anos traballando no meu pequeno bosque comestible duns 1000m2 e tras anos de bastante traballo e pouca recompensa de repente non sei o que pasou o ano pasado que se lle deu por evolucionar de repente e agora vexo os cambios mes a mes. E a relación que temos, a pesares de ser o meu bosque un bebé é cada dia mais complice, sinxelo de sentir pero dificil de explicar con palabras. O dito, parabéns e aqui tedes un seguidor do voso proxecto.😊

Creo que en el norte de España tenéis la ventaja de la lluvia. Yo quisiera eso en mi terreno en Murcia pero será mucho más complicado
Pues si. Pienso que para el bosque comestible, Galicia es el mejor clima de Europa.
Me ha encantado el video. España tiene muchos handicaps para hacer este tipo de proyectos, el primero es que los terrenos son en su mayoria minifundios, osea muy pequeños. Luego tenemos que la mayoria de terrenos se venden por precios exhorbitantes, porque aun se vive la resaca de la burbuja inmobiliaria. Si a eso añadimos que solo una parte pequeña de la peninsula tiene mas de 1000mm de agua al año, se convierte en un reto bastante potente. A mi me encantaría tener tierras, pero veo España imposible por las razones de arriba, en Francia hay más posibilidades, y luego si te vas fuera se multiplican estas posibilidades, Argentina, Brasil, Estados Unidos...
Si hablamos de retos te comento que en México es muy difícil tener un terreno por la inseguridad porque hay mucha gente desplazada de sus tierras por el crimen organizado por lo demás no creo que tengamos problema.
Deberían hacer más videos! Hay muy poca información de bosques comestibles manejados de forma sostenible en Galicia, y vosotros tenéis mucha información que compartir! Si algún día os aventuráis en un proyecto más grande contad con mi apoyo.

Claro que no. Creo que seria de una de dos forma. 1. Agotar el cuerpo. 2. Cambiar de dieta.
Hola!Empecé un "proyecto" en 2019 en la finca de mi abuelo en Fisteus A Coruña. Era un pasto y estoy plantando frutales y todo tipo de arboles y arbustos .También estoy dejando que la naturaleza haga un poco lo que quiera. Sería un honor que vinierais por aqui para aconsejarme y guiarme ya que aveces me siento un poco perdido y mi formación es bastante limitada. Muchas gracias por lo que haceis por a nosa terra. Impresionante sois un ejemplo!!! Yo estoy tratando de crear un espacio natural pero en el sur de España y el gran problema a parte de la escasez de agua, lo cual se suple con árboles autóctonos que soportan la sequía, es que el sol seca totalmente el suelo descubierto desde primavera hasta otoño que aquí son como un largo verano... espero que en los próximos años la cobertura de hojas que estoy colocando y la poca sombra de los pocos árboles que han crecido en está difícil situación sirva de estímulo para crear un pequeño oasis en este gran desierto en el que nos encontramos... ánimo y agradecería información de cualquier tipo de proyecto de permacultura, bosque miyawaki o parecidos en el sur de España... un abrazo enorme!!!

So basically like everyone you are growing snacks forest and not food forest. And to be honest I never ever seen true Food forest with potatoes, carrots, onions, tomatoes, beat roots and so on…
You raise a good point about the viability of forest gardening to feed people. For a few years we did cultivate those foods in our forest, but over time we discovered that the time given to gardening could be better spent (for us) doing other things that fulfill us more than gardening veggies. So we made the choice to stop cultivating those. Now, we also like to think a lot about what would happen if tomorrow the supermarkets did stop feeding us, and we had to begin to cultivate all of our own food. This is a really fun topic with more than I can say in a comment :), but it would be pretty easy to make the transition with a small bit of extra pruning, and it becomes easier as the number of trees at maturity rises. I’d say in the past couple months we’ve had the opportunity to harvest maybe 200 kilos of food? A number that continues to rise, year after year, despite the limited time we spend on gardens. I think the real question though, isn't if a forest garden can feed us. It's, 'Will I, as someone spoiled by modernity, care to eat the abundant harvests of hazelnuts and nettle as the base of my diet?"
@@foresnauts Sorry but if your diet become nettles and hazelnut and other similar stuff you will die eventually. We already have examples of some influencers…
