I'm currently looking into buying these speakers. What equipment do you use to run these speakers? Also, how do they sound in comparison to other speakers you've listened to?
Hi. Sony, these are good-sounding speakers, with high efficiency of 98 dB, I have over 30 pairs of different loudspeakers, all vintage, I very rarely listen to music with these Sony ones. I listen to altec, BBC imf, mk4 and radford, leak 2075, kef 105, fostex Bk 202, polk audio rta 12, klh 5, i.e. mainly old English speakers suit me best, of course in sets with old receivers and tube speakers. I have the Sony mainly because I have the entire Sony set.
For these Sony ones, you need to have a fairly powerful receiver to make them sound good, and to get good bass out of them, anything over 50 Watts per channel will be good, of course from old equipment
@@grzegorzgramofon8939 Okay, I'm definitely picking these speakers up then. I have a pair of Sony ss-u700 speakers and Klipsch synergy f-30s. I use these sowakers with the pioneer vsx-522 receiver, so I should be able to power those speakers no problem. The ss-u700s are three way speakers that have an efficiency of 93dB, so the ss-860 acoustics must sound nice!
This is the entire control set with the remote control. Marantz RC 430, RMC - 12, this set also supports the entire Marantz tower. Best regards from Poland. GRZEGORZ.

Hi. Usually there is a pre-amp input and a selector, and you can connect something else there, but is it worth it, the Sansui sound is ok. Regards, Grzegorz
@@grzegorzgramofon8939 Hi, I guess in the 70's Sansui figured that the four 60w amps would suffice. But they aren't powerful enough to handle my 4 1k speakers.

Hi. That's right, these are very difficult speakers to obtain, even if they are original and functional. Someday I might sell it, but not yet. Besides, these speakers are too big to ship. Greetings from Poland.
Not to big to ship its all about cost. But I think if you were selling them I would drive over to you no problem. Iam a trucker and I drive all over Europe. I’ve not driven to Poland yet but there is always a first. Peace ✌️

Hallo. Nie mam tego modelu, zobacz na inne które tu zaprezentowałem z modeli sansui, oprucz nich mam jeszcze 990db który nie jest na filmach. Ogólnie to mogę powiedzieć, że sansui 881 nigdy nie był w czołówce sansui, teraz trochę zyskał, ponieważ brakuje na rynku konkretów,i niektórzy sansui 881 przedstawiają teraz jako jakiś wyjątkowy model, a tak nie jest. To moje zdanie. Pozdrawiam
