For the last 14 years I had 6 cats. not every cat wanted to sit on my lap. Yes I know they all loved me by seeking my attention an me giving the ( as most as I could) same attention to every cat as possible. But some of the cats that not were interested in my lap... went the closest to me, when sleeping in my bad. And you should not try to get them on your lap... let go if you're cat does not feel comfortable. Stop keep holding them there after about 10 seconds... if they are still try to get way. And at the time it goes up to half a minute, and your cat still does not have interest in beïng on your lap... Than you must be a moron, nog to let her go. If not, you lap will become a trauma to your cat. And yes a trauma to your cat sometimes never can be fixed. Remember you can think more rationally than cats. So let's keep beïng more rational to our beloved cats. It is worth it!

I could never physically hurt my kitty boy or by any other way. His brother passed away and he's been so lonely/; they did everything together. I try and spend lots of time with him and plan to find a kitten to help him.

I have severe fibromyalgia and am in constant pain. But my cats know when I am having a flairup and in more pain than usual. My boy cat walks around my feet until I lay down. Then he lays down right next to my head and purrs in my ear.
