You guys made the tach a hafl oval, and the clock a circle...its not symetrical, it bothers me
I need how you remove it
Hello, thank you for reaching out! The link below has some good information on removal. www.gmsquarebody.com/threads/how-to-remove-the-instrument-cluster.14913/
It sounds like you can use this with factory gauges if you know where to wire, am I wrong?
Hi! The Sky Drive puts out a 12V square wave signal. You can adjust the signal frequency, so it's possible it can output the correct frequency for a factory gauge (as long as the factory gauge is ok with a 12V square wave signal). For more questions, please call our tech line at 844-342-8437. Thank you!
Should I fuse the +12v wire? If so, what amp rating is suitable?
These suck have to reprogram after battery change pain in my a s s
Hi I have a 71 Chevy c10 im Trying To connect my Cluster I don’t know how to connect it if you know how please let me know Thank you
NEED a installation clip for the 1978 F150 instrument panel you sell, for the price they sell for such should be standard & detailed
👏👏
👏👏
Does your cluster have the speed sensor for the factory TBI ECU?
Absolutely no mention of the speedometer attachment to the gauges
does this come with the covers for the AC vent and the cover for the windshield wiper
Hello! It does not, however, you may be able to find these replacements from holley.com. Thanks!
Nicely done
Using a classic instrument cluster is the real American way of doing things. So screw the upgraded stuff.
1979 CHEVY C10 I have a none electric oil pressuse gauge so what do i need to do to make my oil pressure guage work correctly?
Hi David, please give our tech line a call at 844-342-8437, thank you!
I'm having trouble with calibration. Im using the instant calibration. I follow the steps, and when i hit a steady 30 mph, i push and hold the button, but it comes up to 20 mph then no calibration. Could you guys help?
Did you ever get this resolved? I am having same exact issue.
I’m having the same issue and can’t find any troubleshooting tips from classic instruments
I haven't heard from those guys. I took my console out and cheched the connections, and it was good. I even bought the GPS module, and it won't work. Im all ears if you guys figure it out.
That didn't help at all
Thank you! I thought I was the only one thinking the same thing.
I bought a 21 circuit for my 78 chevy k10
I have a 68 mustang with a 4 speed and the end is hitting the trans mounting brace and I cannot screw it in. Any suggestions?
Hi Rod, Please give our tech line a call at 844-342-8437. Thank you!
Hey Man, I'm wondering what size are those Gauges you got from Classic? It's hard to tell much bout them in the video. Maybe 4" dia. or 41/2" dia? I need some 4" gauges for my ride.....🚚 Yeah, it's an 0l' 1973 Chevy C-60 2 Ton Truck I'm fixing up. And I want to customize the dash some. I Alway's Love your show also.
4 5/8", also available in 3 3/4"
Will this retain the settings if the battery is disconnected for an extended period of time?
Yes, it will retain the settings without power.

Tear down is important too...
I bought a new gear selector, but it didn't have the clip connected to it, how would I attach the cable to the old clip???
Hi Kelly, Please contact our tech line toll free at 800.575.0461 and they will be happy to walk you through specific install questions. Thank you!
A wiring adapter would have been nice.
Did you have to remove the dash pad to get the cluster out??
Hi Kelly, while we did in the video it is not a requirement.
Ty I took mine out
What about the speedo? These old trucks have a mechanical cable that snapa in the back and goes straight to the trans
Remote the cable and cap the trans.
Bought this kit for my 73 GMC 2500. It did not originally have a tach so what wire do I put to the white wire of the harness?
Hi Steve, Please give our tech department a call at 1 (800) 575-0461 and they will advise. Thank you!
What style option is this?
Hello! This is a custom style. For more information please call our customs department at (800) 575-0461. Thank you!
The cars are so SHARP but the owners are just so MEAN!! They beat up a bum for sitting on the bumper and ran him over!! LOLLL! They killed a Canadian Goose for crapping on the windows ! JUST SO VERY MEAN! DANG! Chill dudes!
Bought it and is not worth the time
Not worth it
I’ve calibrated multiple times (even tried multiple settings) and after completion, the gauge jumps to empty. I asked my mechanic to try. Same result. Do I have a faulty unit?
Hi Mike, We apologize for the inconvenience you are experiencing. Please give our tech line a call at 844-342-8437.
Classic makes some nice gauges.
where's the link to buy?
Hello, Do you have the electrical diagrams for the instrument panel of the s10 Blazer 94 and the s10 / SONOMA / Blazer 90 - 97? What can you provide me please? I have a 94 Chevrolet Blazer with a digital instrument panel. I want to change the instrument panel for an old school panel that is supposed to be for S10 / Blazer / SONOMA 90-97, the connector of this panel is 26 pins with number A091493
Hello Cesar, We do not have access to original instrument cluster wiring diagrams because we are a manufacturer of aftermarket instruments. However, we could provide an aftermarket replacement dash insert with our instruments or we could update your cluster with our electronics in our retrofit department. To further discuss these options, please call us at 1 (800)575-0461 or email info@classicinstruments.com.
How much does it cost??
$1000 for my 73 GMC cluster
Don’t cut off your factory plug🙄
Your garage is amazing
With that price I can buy another square body.
I was interested till I read your post DareBear65.
I did purchase an autometer cluster. Love it
@@darebear6587 Awesome man, Im doing 2 c10 ls swaps coming up and need a good clusters for both. Dakota is the choice :)
Too bad these dashboards don't come with a adapter plug kinda like you can get for a car stereo for those of us that don't want to cut the crap out if the stalk Wiring.
They ought to make one since it's such a common thing now
This is badass! looks awesome and keep up the good work
How on earth did you get the police force in on this!!? It's awesome!
Wish they made it with the 81to 87 style type face guage too.
Is there any available for a manual ?
Hi Charmaine, the cluster utilizes the factory gear selector that connects to the steering column and re-uses the factory part. With a manual transmission this part is not on the original cluster and omitted. The speedometer is electronic so it can read from a VSS on the transmission if it has one, or use the supplied pulse generator which mounts where the speedometer cable attached.
Why the heck don't yall make a harness adapter so people don't have to splice into their original one???
Hi Tony, with the various configurations of clusters across the 14 year span of these trucks, there is not a “plug and play” solution. Depending on the original truck build there are different pinouts and wire functions for the clusters- with/without clock or tach, location of fuel gauge, etc. Additionally, the connection between the cluster housing and flexible circuit board wasn’t always the most reliable and we don’t want to build off that. For these two reasons, we feel the best way to get a reliable, correct connection is by splicing into the harness.
What part number for this kit
Hi Douglas, the part number for this is CT73OE. Check it out on our website at the link for more details! shop.classicinstruments.com/oe-style-1973-87-chevygmc-truck-package
Fuck that, for that price I can have the cops write me out a ticket that tells me my exact speed. This is why we can't have nice things.
Is this a brand new cluster? (The blue part) like a legit whole piece? My clusters are broken and other digital dash brands require that you put in the new gauges into your existing housing. Is yours the same? Or is it a whole new cluster
Yes, this is a brand new cluster with the blue housing and gauges already assembled as one piece. You have to re use your existing dash bezel (silver trim piece) and your existing gear indicator as those two pieces are not included.
