Very interesting and informative video. On the water seeping in at the corners of the overlapping eternabond, would a little dab of dicor or silicone in the corners alleviate that problem?

That looks VERY similar to Eternabond tape in application and function. I've used it on prior rigs (non-Renegade) that had rubber roofs. Kind of amazing stuff and outlasted my time with any trailer I applied it to....even fixing up a LARGE tear in the rubber one time. I can only imagine what it looked like with a big flap of rubber flying around on the roof as I drove down the freeway. But along with some adhesive between the flap and plywood the repair held for years. Thanks for sharing!

Here are the Renegade parts numbers. 3M tape 3" width 1450880. Eternaseal 1270470. 3M 94 tape primer is from amazon. Hope this helps.

I work on these. Easy way to see if stat is tripped is to look at the diaphram. If it is convex it is good. If concave, it is tripped. Also, it is almost always the ECO stat that trips as it is non resetting. The other stat is the cycling stat as it turns on and off depending on the temp. It wears out after a bunch of use and if it stops cycling the unit overheats and trips the ECO. That is why they only sell them in pairs. The cycling stat tests good because at some point it does reset itself.

But It's not the nightmare it once was 🤣 Big pot score! I didn't notice any other people slogging big Mexican toilets home. I'll stick with Walmart. It's plenty bad enough. Less cattle skulls from last summer's taco's. Less trip hazards.
